I’ve managed to collect all of the Ghost crew but have been struggling to display them. In the end the amazing 75312 Slave 1 inspired me to try midi-scale and I managed to put this together! She’s 27cm long, 21cm wide, weighs in at 695g and the parts cost is around £85. She’ll holds all six crew (although they’re all sitting and lying down) and I managed to get a sturdy little stand right under the centre of gravity. I’ve also made tiny Phantoms 1 & 2 that can hold Chopper.

I noticed something delightful when watching one of the new Rogue One international trailers.

This is a still from the trailer.

This is a photograph of an X-Wing prototype in 1975, two years before the release of the first Star Wars film. Notice that it was blue - this was changed to red because of the use of blue screens. Well, Rogue One seems to have given us our Blue Squadron at long last. And this is my tribute. You can almost hear it...

"Blue Leader, standing by"

These were great fun to put together, especially doing the research (watching Rogue One again!). Free instructions on Rebrickable, enjoy :)

It's seems like TK-456 have reached the rumored land of so called "man eating-teddy bear village" and tried to hide behind from a big fallen tree. He observed the village, looking every detail of the houses.

"So civilized...impressive"

he then saw a glimpse of a small image. Brown, Furry looking, 3 feet bear, an ewok!

For real, he saw how they walk, pass each other, how they talk, and how these creatures live their lives without a bother. He then gathered information about these little beings and share these informations to his fellow comrades.

Shows the technic motion of the build.

Tooby is typically assigned to “Dutch” Vander, who flies Gold Squadron’s lead Y-wing. A loyal and attentive droid, Tooby carefully follows the lengthy diagnostics checklists critical to keeping the Massassi base’s Y-wings ready for battle.

I made this droid by simply using the legs and body of R3-S1 and the head of R2-Q2 and erasing the white and black stripe around his head.

This is the original autograph by Agnus Macinnes.

I signed it on my vignette.

He played the role of "Dutch" Vander Gold Leader

From Star Wars Episode IV and RogueOne.

He signed it to me during the Star Wars days in Legoland Germany 2017.

The changes here are also fairly minor. There are a few things I might touch up in the future, particularly around the "neck" area. However, for something I built almost three years ago, I am surprisingly still pleased.

1/10 Scale Polystone Statue | IRON STUDIOS

Painted this Feb 9th - surprised a friend on her birthday the 17th. I don't really paint but this was super relaxing and fun.

What if Lego had obtained the Star Wars license in 1983 instead of 1999? The Y-wing might have looked like this. Features top and bottom hatches in the aft fuselage for bombs and room in the cockpit for a space gun and a coffee cup. Like my "classic" X-wing design, this is inspired by my childhood makeshift builds but is significantly different in most respects.

I got done with my look at the new Target Exclusive AT-ACT Driver, and realized that I had never looked at the Scarif Trooper. What an oversight on my part. I had looked at the initial release of the Squad Leader that saw general release, but the troop builder figure only saw release at Walmart. That is a pretty strange way to go about selling you toys, but whatever. I don't make the rules.

Being that finding the exclusives for Walmart are super hard to do, I had ordered them online, since I knew it would be way better to just go that route and not have to travel around to see if I could find any (which I never did).

So my box showed up with 3 troopers (best deal to get free shipping). They are very similar to the Squad leader, but with a different belt that does not have the long blue skirt, but instead has a shorter off-white skirt.

I really like these troopers overall. Their paint apps are random, so they don't all seem to have the same dirt and scuff marks in the same place. Troop building with these guys is fun.

As of the time of this photo shoot, I had 5 Scarif Troopers, 4 Death Troopers, a Hovertank Driver, and a Stormtrooper. That is a goodly number of troopers, but more than that, it is an interesting looking bunch. If for no other reason, Rogue One expanded the universe of the Troopers, and we have more to look at than just a bunch of shiny white dudes, and an occasional Speeder Bike driver (who I have, but somehow didn't make it to the shoot. That is definitely my bad on that one).

After watching Rogue One, I felt like I needed to build something from the movie. This build is not an exact replica, but is inspired by the Jedha Ambush where the extremist rebels attack the Imperial Stormtroopers. After two days of building with a couple of friends, this is what we came up with. Hope you enjoy!

Yeah I know I really need to buy a good camera.

The Zeta-class cargo shuttle was a type of shuttle used by the Galactic Empire in its fight against the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Directly before the Battle of Yavin, hundreds of these shuttles were used during the Imperial occupation of Jedha to transport kyber crystals that power the Death Star's superlaser. These shuttles were also involved in the Battle of Scarif, which is also where some kyber crystals were transported, and where the original Death Star plans were kept before being stolen by the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
