I’ve managed to collect all of the Ghost crew but have been struggling to display them. In the end the amazing 75312 Slave 1 inspired me to try midi-scale and I managed to put this together! She’s 27cm long, 21cm wide, weighs in at 695g and the parts cost is around £85. She’ll holds all six crew (although they’re all sitting and lying down) and I managed to get a sturdy little stand right under the centre of gravity. I’ve also made tiny Phantoms 1 & 2 that can hold Chopper.

Instructions are now on Rebrickable, thanks for looking! rebrickable.com/users/ron_mcphatty/mocs

It’s not my best but it’s something. My brother says it looks different in real life so idk.

Thank you all for your comments, faves and likes here on flickr or on instagram over the last year! I’m really happy about every single one of these.

And, of course, a special thanks to my good friends from RogueBricks! It was a pleasure to see all your fabulous builds and especially to meet you at several events like the Comic Con in Stuttgart or the Bricking Bavaria in Munich.

Hope to see you again soon!

Best wishes for 2018!

The sensor station seen being repaired by a droid on Galen's farm at the beginning of Rogue One.

The dual windscreens in 10497 gave me the idea to try to create a classic space version of my favorite Star Wars ship, the U-wing. Overall I am pretty happy with this one. I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep the functions of the U-wing but managed to get the sweeping s-foils and opening troop compartment doors (this with the addition of 2 1L axle/pins and 4 2L axle pins). All other parts come from the set. The part count comes in a little over 900. "There is more than one prison. I think you carry yours wherever you go." - Chirrut ÃŽmwe to Cassian Andor

After the Imperial reinforcements are fought off, the group thinks they are in the clear until a group of Partisans, including Benthic, arrives and takes over the square, kidnapping Andor, Erso, and the two guardians with K2 having gone back to the ship. Benthic feels that Andor was hostile towards the Partisans during the uprising because he shot one of their own to create a distraction for him and Jyn to escape. Jyn reveals to the Partisans that she is the daughter of Galen Erso and the partisans take them to their headquarters in the Catacombs of Cadera and imprison them. (From Wookieepedia.)

Micro diorama of the iconic Star Wars planet that appears also in Rogue One.

"Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope."

―Princess Leia Organa in a hologram message.

The Rescue of Princess Leia was a mission to rescue Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan during the Galactic Civil War. The rescue followed a battle on Tatooine, after which the Millennium Falcon made its way to Alderaan so Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, and R2-D2 could deliver stolen Death Star plans to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. En route to Alderaan, however, the Galactic Empire destroyed the planet. The Millennium Falcon was captured by the Death Star while in the remains of Alderaan, leading the ship's crew, Han Solo and Chewbacca, to hide with their passengers.

In order to escape, Solo and Skywalker posed as stormtroopers, allowing the group to make their way to a hiding place within the Death Star. After Kenobi left the group to shut down the station's tractor beam, R2-D2 discovered that Princess Leia, who had provided the droid with the Death Star plans, was aboard the station, being held within Detention Block AA-23. The group decided to rescue the princess and made their way to the detention center, with Chewbacca in binders as their "prisoner." They "rescued" Organa, but were subsequently protected by the clearly capable princess, and fought their way throughout the station and back to the Millennium Falcon, while Kenobi successfully disabled the tractor beam.

Kenobi soon came face to face with Darth Vader, who had been his apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, before falling to the dark side and becoming a Dark Lord of the Sith. The two faced off in one final lightsaber duel, their first encounter since their duel on Mustafar nineteen years prior. Kenobi sacrificed himself to give Skywalker and the others a chance to escape, and achieved eternal consciousness after his death. The Millennium Falcon was able to flee the station and was pursued by a group of TIE/ln space superiority starfighters, which the crew managed to destroy. The Empire was tracking the Falcon, however, and followed it to Yavin 4, leading to the Battle of Yavin and the destruction of the Death Star.

"Gentlemen. One of you betrayed the Empire. One of you has conspired with a pilot to send messages to the Rebellion. And I urge that traitor step forward." - Director Krennic

The Rebel crew survives the U-Wing crash, but their transmitter is knocked-out. Rebel Command suspects the worst when communication with the team is lost, and General Draven orders a bombing-run on Eadu. Cassian leaves with Bodhi to find the Imperial Research Facility. Chirrut senses that Cassian is preparing to make a kill, so Jyn storms-off after him. She climbs up to a landing platform from below, whilst Cassian prepares to snipe Galen Erso from a vantage point. He is interrupted when Director Krennic arrives and demands to know the identity of the scientist who leaked information to Bodhi Rook. Galen steps forward in order to save the other scientists, but Krennic has them killed anyway. Despite having the opportunity, Cassian does not kill Galen Erso.

To give a more badass look (and because it was looking pretty empty) I put stickers to give a damaged look to the U-Wing, They are 100% legit because they come from the remaining part of official sticker sheets.

"I'm one with the Force, and the Force is with me." - Chirrut ÃŽmwe/Baze Malbus

Chirrut manages to activate the master switch, but is killed in the process. Bodhi is able to contact the Rebel fleet and request that they destroy the shield gate surrounding Scarif, before he is also killed. Baze sees the explosion in the distance, and makes a final stand against the Imperial Death Troopers who killed Chirrut. In his last moments, he regains his reverence for the Force.

Made by Asoka from IDS - imperiumdersteine.de I thought it was worth presenting for our community, because this great MOC is worth watching. Check out the movie for his MOC with more great pictures www.youtube.com/watch?v=15XrgZpnzqk

Now that most of the smartphone have really great camera all you need to get a beautiful shot is softbox, got two for 70€, the result is definetly worth it.

I not gonna speak about the price of photoshop here ....

I have some free time tonight, which I'm about to spend getting needlessly ahead on assignments, and then probably some Minecraft, but in the meantime I decided to do some updates to this A lot of the changes are small, but important to me. New pieces helped a lot, as did new knowledge. Part of my wants to rebuild it entirely, but honestly a lot of this still holds up to my standards, and the size is perfect, so I can't exactly justify that. I would love some ideas for more things to fix, though, as new eyes are always helpful.

Also, to those who follow me with some regularity, thanks - it's always fun to wake up and have a few new notifications from you guys in addition to email to check. Also to you guys - I have a very special project in the works, expect it within a week. It's going to be fun!

Edit: To those wondering about the cut off on the fin on the ventral side, where it meets the flat portion, if you noticed that the flat portion should be extended up the side, two things:

First of all, Impressive for noticing that

Second of all, I fixed it. :P

(All Terrain - Armoured Cargo Transport)

I'll probably make just a couple more painting/weathering adjustments to the body and orange container before I declare it complete.

"I need to speak to Saw Gerrera..." - Bodhi Rook

Having defected, Imperial pilot Bodhi Rook seeks out Saw Gerrera, carrying an important message from Galen Erso concerning the Empire's construction of an ultimate weapon. Rook finds Gerrera's hideout on Jedha but Gerrera's Partisan soldiers, including Benthic, are distrustful of Rook's intentions and capture him. They bring him before Gerrera and though Bodhi pleads his case to the Partisan leader, Gerrera does not trust him either, fearing that he is being lured into a trap. To discover of Rook is being truthful or not, Gerrera subjects him to the torturous creature Bor Gullet, an experience which leads to a temporary loss of Bodhi's sanity. (From Wookieepedia.)

"Look sir, droids!"

These two are always together when it comes to guarding the gate. They sometimes count every droid they can see or pass them by, whoever gets the most number of counts wins the bet. The bet is simple, you lose, then you have to buy the winner a shot from the Cafeteria inside the tower.

4664 parts

I will give the files for free once I build it and make sure everything work.

I saw it on concept art and I thought it would make sense if the cargo could be dropped and for easy access.

There is a hidden mechanism to drop the cargo on the top ( and a mess inside)

I've had this sucker built for a while. Feels good to finally post it. This is such an ugly, ugly ship - I love it! It was neat seeing these in Rogue One. I'm going to be posting a number of my fleet ships methinks.

Chapter 9: The Marsha; is the first episode of the second season of the television series The Mandalorian. The episode was written and directed by Jon Favreau, and aired on Disney+ on October 30, 2020.

"The two travel to the krayt dragon's lair, with Din riding his Zephyr-J speeder bike and Vanth riding a contraption made from a modified podracer engine. While riding through the dunes, Vanth explains that Mos Pelgo was on its "last legs" shortly after they got news about the second Death Star's destruction. While residents had cheered the Battle of Endor and the withdrawal of Imperial forces from Tatooine, their celebration was short-lived because the Mining Collective took advantage of the power vacuum to invade Mos Pelgo and turn it into a slave camp overnight. That night, Vanth had managed to escape with a camtono carrying silicax crystals.

Vanth explained that he had wandered for days with no food and water when he encountered a Jawa sandcrawler. The Jawas saved his life in return for the camtono of silicate crystals. In addition to the full waterskin, Vanth used the crystals to obtain a suit of Mandalorian armor. Armed with the armor and ammunition, he expelled the Mining Collective from Mos Pelgo, using the rocket in his jetpack to destroy the fleeing thugs and their landspeeder"

Task is to build a scene of the last Star Wars movie 'Rogue One - A Star Wars Story' on 8x8.

(After I couldn't be no longer participant of 'The Tourney' out of illness reasons, it fortunately was possible to build this little vignette.)

It shows the Stormtrooper Doll who was lost by Jyn Erso in the first scenes of the movie.

Though 8x8 is very small I tried not to use a regular MiniFig. It started with the helm and the idea of creating a sort of doll hold by strings. In the end it finally worked out.

Hope you like the result.
