I sold my Lomo LCA over a year ago. Found a roll last might and developed it.
Lomo LC-A
Fuju Neopan Presto 400
Rodinal 1/100 dilution.
2 hours development with initial 30 seconds of agitation only.
This is my first roll of Agfaphoto APX100 "New Emulsion". It's quite clear that the new film is manufactured by Ilford for Lupus Imaging. The film comes in the typical black Ilford black tub and the packing has the same style machine print for expiry. The negative has the same font used in the exposure of the film name. The final clue is the identical development times as Ilford's sub brand "Kentmere", 100 film.
Overall it isn't bad I was worried it would horrible as my only other experience has been with Kentmere 400 which wasn't good. This roll was developed in Rodinal for 5.5mins at 1+25. I quite like the tonal levels throughout the film but we'll have to see how it performs with a more modern developer like Kodak's Tmax.
AGFA APX100, gepushed auf ISO400, Rodinal 1+25, 7min@20°, 60s S10, 5min Rapid Fixer, gescannt am Epson V500
APX400 with Rodinal is widely agreed to be an ugly combination. This was shot at 800, developed in 1+25 at 24c for 13 minutes. I guess I could have reticulated it to make it more "ugly," but I gotta admit I like the look.
First roll of ADOX CHS25 I've shot. Of course, with my old ADOX Start folding 6x9. Self-developed this in Rodinal 1:50 10 minutes and the 4800dpi scan on my 27-inch iMac is stunning. Fussy film, but I like it in the Rodinal!
I like how this photograph turned out, with the plane sharply in focus against a grainy sky. The motion blur was not intentional, but calms down what might have been some distracting parts of the photograph.
