Taken at Rotterdam central station. They're still busy building the new station building. These elevator shafts are the only structures left that remind of the old building. I think these will eventually, when all new elevators are in place, will be demolished. Inside the new building they look a bit misplaced.
This was taken with my new lens. The 1.9 looks sharp, really sharp, all though it wasn't taken at 1.9. I believe this was taken at F/8. I'm really eager to test this lens.
I have been absent this week. I have been studying quite hard for a final, that I took today. I hope to get to you all soon. First I'm going to enjoy my Friday night with some cold beers! Have a nice weekend!
So after the messy contrast in the last roll, I took some advice from fellow film photographers and switched things up a little to try and tame that contrast. Over-Exposing by a stop (ASA-50) but without pulling in development. I had beautiful results, smooth but rich contrast, and fine-grain and sharp images. I'm happy with these results.

August 25, 2013.
Shot with Fuji GW690III on Shanghai GP3 100 film, expiry date April, 2013. Developed in Fomadon R09 ("Rodinal" clone), 1+50 solution, for 18 minutes, 20 seconds water rinse and 6 minutes fix. Developing minutiae: 15 seconds every minute for the first 3 minutes, then 15 seconds of inversions every 3 minutes. – View at least large.
I was minding my own business when Charles came up and said "there's my car". I thought "well great there's going to be a situation at work", but it turned out that was a car Charles had always wanted. Like a dream car. The car was a 1995 Chevy Impala SS. When the guy walked in, the two started having a conversation about it. The owner remade the engine after the car reached 200000 miles. I guess it's nice to think about cars like that when you want to get yhings off your mind. Especially since you work at this restaurant. That Impala isn't all that expensive, and it does have a nice aesthetic to it.

Agfa Karat on expired and badly stored Ilford FP4+ in Rodinal 1:25 for 9 minutes, but perhaps agitated a bit too enthusiastically with this grain. Still fitting though.

I was given three rolls of 35mm Kodak Technical Pan (expired 2002). I hunted around for a development scheme and finally settled on this. Mostly because I had Rodinal. I'm only posting in case some of you still have some in the fridge.
16 EI
Rodinal 1+150 for thirteen minutes
Agitate with 30 seconds initial inversions, then 3 inversions at 10 minutes,7 minutes,4 minutes, and 1minute counting down. (every 3 minutes)
Regular stop, fix and hypo.
I used 5ml of Rodinal in 750ml of H2O. That gives less than the recommended 10ml of Rodinal but the negatives really look great (full tone scale).
I had to figure out a curve profile as I felt (and still do) that the midtones were not right. Technical Pan is also a dust magnet; lots of healing tool. Even with Rodinal there is virtually no grain.
