Roddi

Roddi is a beautiful village of the Langhe.

The historical part of the town, whose streets form concentric circles, is perched around the castle and the adjoining 13th-century bell tower.

The Castle is a Tall and imposing building with a solid wall and cylindrical tower.

Now it is open to the public. From April to November it houses exhibitions of both past and present-day artists.

Another interesting point is the church of S. Maria Assunta is a beautifull Baroque parish church from the early 18th-century.

The village of Roddi is 6 km far from Alba and 44km far from Turin.

We drove west of Victoria and explored Fort Rodd Hill with its wonderful lighthouse. Further on, we walked Whiffin Spit Park at Sooke, had lunch at the Best Western Premier, and finished the day at the East Sooke Regional Park for a hike.
