The platform rocker from Frank's home growing up. Originally carried to California by covered wagon, by a great aunt of my father. It has been through many reupholsterings, and is about to go through another.
And there's a creepy doll
That always follows you
It's got a ruined eye
That's always open

An old rocking chair that belonged to my great-grandmother before she passed away. She wouldn't sit much of anywhere else. It now resides on my uncle's back porch.
Our unconventional rocking chair picture. We couldn't get her to sit down for more than a second in her rocking chair, so this will have to do.
I'll admit, the seat is somewhat hideous. Reminiscent of bad waiting room or cafeteria chairs.
But the rockers are so terrific.

not too long of a spring here in Southern California ... we just kind of move right on into summer ... Now that my bikini days are over, I spend more of the hot days in the shade right in this chair!
