One of a series of still life images, set around the theme of children’s toys. When shot from certain angles, using the appropriate lens aperture and lighting conditions, a child’s plaything has the potential to look more sinister. For a child, these are the toys that could transform into something far more menacing when lit by a full moon or car headlights shining through a gap in the curtains.
The Ionic porch columns give this porch a sense of sophistication. Would love to spend an afternoon on it watching the world go by. Tarboro N.C.
Eastlake rocker I got for free for helping my antique dealer friend of mine clean out part of her shop the other day. It needs re-caning, but that's okay.

Porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing with floral throw pillows seen in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
When my Mom was pregnant with me my Dad bought this Eames rocking chair for my Mom. I broke my Mom's tailbone when I was born so she wasn't able to rock me in it. These chairs are worth a lot now. My Mom has a couple Eames chairs still. I didn't know my parents were so hip a the time.
Full on front view of the swimsuit I've been working on the last couple of days. Most of the hems are done with invisible quilting thread by hand on this one, though the side seams are all machine.
The suit fits barbie like a dream, but it wasn't actually meant for Barbie. Eh, I'll get around to improving it at some point.
