Kashmir, The Live Led Zeppelin Show was created by vocalist Jean Violet back in 2000. It has grown from the streets of New York City to now being one of the top Led Zeppelin Tribute bands touring nationally and internationally. Kashmir’s primary focus is capturing the live performance and raw energy of a Led Zeppelin show.
Time and time again audience members who meet and greet with Kashmir after a show tell them how they felt as if they went back in time to a Led Zeppelin concert that they attended or how younger members of the audience will tell the band how it was the closest experience that they will ever get to a Live Led Zeppelin performance.
Yes, the singer looks and sounds a lot like Robert Plant and the band shares the authenticity, appearance and sound of the great Led Zeppelin but more importantly the band wants to share the energy and the experience that Led Zeppelin created while on tour. The band calls it “The Zone” and they want everyone to share that same electromagnetic experience after leaving a Kashmir show like so many Zep fans did in the past while watching the great Led Zeppelin on stage! ~ High energy show that lasted over 2 1/2 hours! Bravo!
- www.kevin-palmer.com - At 5am fog was slowly rising from the Rock River after an unseasonably cool night. Once the sun rose, it cast a warm glow across the river valley. This was taken at Castle Rock State Park, which sits on a 100 foot high bluff near Oregon, IL. This is a 4 shot panorama and a graduated neutral density filter was used to control the light.
Black Rock Cottage looking towards Buachaille Etive Mor. I know its a cliche type shot, its been done so many times before and better as well, I just had to take the shot, the light on the cottage and light on Buachaille at the same time, It was the layer of cloud around the mountain i really loved. I had been at the waterfall in front of Buachaille, (the normal shot lol), but the mountain was totally covered in cloud, so though i would try another view. I bumped into Karl from www.glencoephotography.co.uk on a workshop, didn't want to get in the way, they seemed deep in thought.

When the fog started to clear I headed down to the bay and soon realised that there wasn't going to be much of a sunset so it was out with the big stopper while there was still a little bit of light catching some of the famous rock ledges and then wait for dark..... to be continued

Canadian Pacific train 199 has the normal complement of autoracks on the head end. Train is crossing the Rock River east of Watertown, Wisconsin, westbound.
The lions have a new rock pool in their enclosure and although they love it and play in it, I have not seen or heard of them going in for a swim just yet.
I am looking forward to when it warms up to see if they use it as their own personal swimming pool.

steph and josh had a lot of fun creating these. i loved seeing them play together. it's always a good sign if you can get him willingly away from the iPad.

Egg Rock is a volcanic feature in the Lamington National Park in SE Queensland. This view is taken from the Numinbah Valley Road and unfortunately, the scene quickly disappears a little further down the road and is not able to be photographed readily from closer unless you book into the State Prison Farm which is just ahead on the higher ground to the right and blocks the view. It can be also more readily seen from above at Binna Burra by taking one of the walks to the edge of the escarpment. The Springbrook Plateau, another area of rainforest and breathtaking waterfalls is on the left while Green Mountains (O’Reilly’s) is yet another ridge or range further to the right. A wonderful area for hiking the forest trails if you have the energy.
Frustratingly, our summer of clouds didn’t part at the right time to allow a brighter shot.
