My plan for today was to wait for the proposed grey weather to roll in that should co-inside with a mid afternoon high tide.. then head to Clevedon seafront for a couple of long exposure (mono) shots.
On arrival, the seafront was full of sailing boats, marine lake was full of canoes.
Plan two! a quick trip to Black Nore Point..

The beauty of the Oregon Coast is expressed so vividly by the rocks and cliffs that abound there. Haystack Rock is iconic, and yes, even cliche, but I do love to admire its beauty.

Currumbin Rock. Light from the setting sun behind and below the horizon, and the moon high in the eastern sky.
Los acantilados de Kilt Rock se encuentran en la isla de Skye, y son sencillamente espectaculares, es un lugar que si teneis intención de viajar hasta allí no podeis dejar de ver.
Estos acantilados reciben este nombre porque según sus gente en las piedras se pueden observar todos los colores que llevan los famosos Kilt (faldas escocesas).
Recomiendo ver en grande, espero os guste

Isa Lei approaches the Rock of Gibraltar 7 weeks and 1,350 miles or so after leaving Bristol in England; stopping at 21 different ports, harbours and anchorages on the way.
A few minutes after taking this photo a pod of maybe 8-10 dolphins came close to the boat and gave me an energetic acrobatic display.....icing on the cake when it happens.

I had never intended to shoot this, and it never looked good in colour. The black and white i think enhances the clouds int he background and the slightly unbalanced rock help bring this photo together. There was a rainbow as i was setting up my camera but it disappeared by the time i was ready!

Aboriginal rock art on Bigge Island records a first contact with another culture and race of people which was unknown to each. These people were from Europe and were possibly from Portugal or Spain. The local people painted things which they had not seen before such as smoking pipes, hats and even sailing ships. The image Rock Art (12) details a snake over the head of one of the European men, it is thought that the snake was a sign by the local people that these people should not be trusted.
