An ice robot at the end of a Breakwater. See the two pointed things sticking out of the pole halfway up? I saw those as elbows, and now I can't unsee this as a figure with a bug boxy head, wearing robes, standing with its hands on its hips, looking out over the water. Robots don't usually wear robes - but the boxy head makes me think robot. (Pareidolia!)
This is the breakwater at 31st street beach a couple weeks ago before the thaw. Covered in ice that must have built up all winter.
This shot was taken with a polarizer, which is why the colors are a bit different than in some of the other photos of the same breakwater at the same time.
the robot is the creation of Chris Wollard from Tulsa, and is an art car with space for 8-10 people to ride in back; robot's friend is a modified Gerlach ambulance, the Jambulance, by Kent Robinson

The game was in full swing, chips stacked high and oil flowing freely under the flickering neon lights. XR-77 had just upped the ante, his servos whirring as he confidently pushed a stack forward, when he suddenly froze mid-bet. The robot’s camera lens narrowed at KE-9, seated opposite him. "You’re hacking into my visual circuits, aren’t you?" XR-77 accused, his voice a blend of static and indignation. KE-9 raised his hands in mock innocence, metallic fingers glinting. “Please,” he replied smoothly, “just because I can calculate odds faster than you doesn’t mean I’m cheating.” The other players chuckled, while XR-77 muttered something about “trust issues” before grudgingly shoving his chips to the center.
This robot head was inspired by the amazing creativity and flow of art from Jim Rowden. I like the interesting shapes, plus the colours and patterns that he uses in his work. It was also inspired by the machine that I've had to buy to stop my neighbours' cats using my lawn as a toilet!

Have you ever built so many robots that it becomes difficult to come up with a cool backstory that you haven't already done? Yup. So I guess this guy is a military robot of some kind that enforces things... heavily.
