Robin making the most of the late autumn sunshine on our front step. He spent a good hour in this sheltered spot, all fluffed up and soaking up the sun. I was forced to stay out in the cold wind as I couldn't get to the door without disturbing him!!!

This poor bird flew into our picture window and when I looked out I saw our neighbors cat sitting next to it. I ran the cat off and lifted the bird onto our tree. It took sometime to shake off the encounter and finally flew off. It was gracious enough to pose for a few photos.
