Love these birds

I seem to have burnt myself out and must apologise for my lack of involvement and enthusiasm recently.

Through the window as it was dull and raining for a change. The baby has blossomed and is the boss. Like a true pro, he posed wonderfully lol and the gnome just giggled.

I took this in my garden, and after several hours of watching the habits of this robin I managed to get this shot of it after feeding on the bird table.

Having a little stretch!

You can't have enough Robin photos at Christmas! or maybe you can!

I'd better start getting in the mood for Christmas soon

It wouldn't be winter without a compulsory Robin shot.

Robin with it's insect catch

Happy new year all, hope no ones suffering too badly from over indulgance this morning.

I had a couple of hours at Old Moor reserve yesterday, and I was watching two robins whose territories seemed to overlap, and every now and then there were flurries of chasing and threatening displays. I caught this one just displaying a threat to his rival, the head down and tail up usually means come and have a go if you think you're hard enough, lol ;o))
