This robin is either very old or is very ill. He should have a lovely orange breast at this time of year to impress the ladies, but he has barely got feathers at all. He is tame even by robin standards, happily hopping around my parents kitchen eating cheese, which implies that he is pretty desperate.

I wanted to see if I could get a shot of a Robin on top of a spade with a few nuts to encourage him to come on...within 10 mins of me putting it out he flew right on ....but then just after 10 mins he decided to go down under.... he was only on a second so Im pleased I got the shot ....not quite the correct settings on my camera....but at least I got the shot I wanted !!
