It was inexpensive, gigantic, dripping with patina, and located about a thousand miles away in New Orleans.
I found someone heading this way via Craigslist's 'rideshare' section, and for a couple tanks of gas we had it brought to Chicago.

The Commonwealth’s face covering order will also be rescinded on May 29, and Governor Baker will end the State of Emergency on June 15. The Department of Public Health will issue a new face covering advisory consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated guidance. Face coverings will still be mandatory for all individuals on public and private transportation systems (including rideshares, livery, taxi, ferries, MBTA, Commuter Rail and transportation stations), in healthcare facilities and in other settings hosting vulnerable populations, such as congregate care settings. My trusty 2009 Hyundai Genesis, with over 254,000 miles on the clock, had deteriorated quite badly for the past few years due to excessive rideshare duty, but now that I have changed jobs and no longer have to abuse my car every day, I am catching up with badly needed repairs and upgrades. This photo was taken during a drive to Carlsbad Flower Fields, which was also a test drive of the car after those urgent repairs.
The nasty variable valve timing problems of summer 2017 ended up leaving some residual damage to my car, including a very nasty air intake manifold and throttle body. In fact, the oil even backed up into the throttle body and its throttle position sensor. After reading the Check Engine light codes and consulting with the mechanic, I ended up buying an OEM replacement throttle body and making the swap myself; that's why the throttle body doesn't have the dirt and grease of the rest of the engine compartment. The throttle now is far more responsive, and it is much easier to drive the car. I will make sure to clean the throttle body every 30,000 miles as a preventative measure.
(And an engine bay detail should be next.)

I had given away real flowers to all the ladies that rode with me on valentines day during the ride share job I do for Lyft in San Francisco. I had chocolate kisses dangling off the ceiling and flowers above their heads from the the sun roof. Everyone that rides in my 2011 Ford Fiesta they say it is like Virgin America seating or a sports car limo.

West Third Street going through the Mid-Wilshire District of Los Angeles is normally thought of as the northern part of Koreatown, and many signs indeed visible around are Korean. There is also a large working-class Latino presence in the area, so Spanish is also rather easy to find.
But not many people realize that West Third Street is also Little Bangladesh, the primary population center for Bangladeshi immigrants in western US, with several signs in Bangla. One such sign identifies Dhaka Driving School, which is appropriate, as many new Bangladeshi immigrants take up driving a taxicab or a rideshare vehicle as their first American job.
