Macro of a coin.

1/40 sec handheld exposure taken with a Nikon D80 using the kit lens (18-135mm) reverse mounted on the body. Well, reverse held on the body because I don't have an actual reverse mount. Aperture lever on lens was manually held open. Lighting was a Surefire Z2 flashlight approximately 1 inch away.

Crude and elementary, but decent results... I think

I found some old negatives and scanned and reversed them to learn who they might be of, but I don't recognise them. Don't recognise the building, either. If someone could date that car, I would have a better idea of the time. I believe this might be an old "mom and pop" store, judging from the washed out sign (I could only read the top line, it says Chicken) and the cases of bottles stacked on the other side of the storage unit. I did think that maybe that little storage unit might be for ice, but it is just a guess...
