I had more time to view this this time as I headed straight for it after eating lunch. I convinced my friend to come up here. Each of the pencils has a country's name in Katakana. We could find Austria but not Australia. We couldn't find Japan, either. We're guessing it is in the center, maybe.

I then promptly lost my triennial passport so we spent our 40 minute viewing time looking for it. We found it again, but I felt sorry for my friend because he hadn't seen any of the countless artwork in the area. He said not to worry, and we did get to see more art further on the journey.

Occasionally, my iphone will segment pics and load them upside down. This is a moonrise pic I took from the backyard. If you look in the center and at the bottom of the frame, you'll see how the pic spliced itself. Ohhh...a brundlepic!

Canon 550D + 50mm F/1.8 reversed. @F/8

The cheap way to do macro! I just learned the "reversed lens" trick and tried it out for the first time... not to bad if I say so myself! The flower is about half the size of a thumbnail!

Uno dei miei primissimi scatti con questa tecnica, è diventato un po' il mio "cavallo di battaglia" su facebook ma non mi sono mai resa conto di non averla caricata nel mio portfolio Flickr ..

I hate this time of year.

Taken w/reverse lens adapter, 28-80mm at about 35mm,tripod,remote release shutter and LED shop light.

With reverse adapter and this lens the front(rear of lens w/reverse adapter) of the lens was about 1 1/2 inches from subject where the ext tube shot was only about 1/4 inch from subject.

Much easier to light subject using reverse adapter.
