Trying out a cheap reversing ring on a Nikon 50mm f1.8. Hand held and a nightmare narrow DoF!

I had more time to view this this time as I headed straight for it after eating lunch. I convinced my friend to come up here. Each of the pencils has a country's name in Katakana. We could find Austria but not Australia. We couldn't find Japan, either. We're guessing it is in the center, maybe.

I then promptly lost my triennial passport so we spent our 40 minute viewing time looking for it. We found it again, but I felt sorry for my friend because he hadn't seen any of the countless artwork in the area. He said not to worry, and we did get to see more art further on the journey.

I started this one in 4th period Chemistry yesterday @ school when we had some free time. I finished it right now. Is it weird? I had an urge to draw a fish. Hope you like it. <3

I really need to get back into drawing. I want my hands to be able to express the images that appear in my mind. It used to be one of my passions. And I’m slowly regaining back that passion. I want to be able to be as creative and imaginative as I was when I was younger and drew whatever I thought was neat. <3 I wasn’t able to color it because I don’t have the necessary tools to color it with. *sigh

Reverse macro without reverse ring. Canon 18-55mm.

Using a reverse ring on a 50mm and 18-55 lens to capture my first macro shots. Please comment.

The cheap way to do macro! I just learned the "reversed lens" trick and tried it out for the first time... not to bad if I say so myself! The flower is about half the size of a thumbnail!

Taken in my parents yard. 24mm prime reversed on extension tubes. Hinged hot shoe allows the flash to lean out over the lens stack and a DIY snoot with diffusion.
