Getting fit using recycled bicycle inner tubes at Western Hills University Partnership Magnet Center in Omaha, Nebraska
Lifecycle Building Center's 2017 Annual Fundraiser to support LBC's Nonprofit Material Match Program, which connects usable building materials destined for landfills with nonprofits, community organizations, schools and houses of faith that can use them for their facility renovation and construction projects.
So, we had all these containers around which are super valuable around here... so I did a hat raffle for the staff. Fun times.

Yesterday, during a photographic trip, I saw this mailbox made with an old microwave in Penne (France), a little village in the south west of France, a nice and simple idea and you can put big packet inside !

This is the back of the rabbit wallet. It was made by folding and quilting one plastic bag plus some cuttings from other bags for decoration.

Part of the North Rim Trail has been made out of recycled tire rubber. The path provides a soft cushion for weary feet.
Durham’s first annual ReUse Rodeo! On Saturday, April 22nd, Keep Durham Beautiful accepted gently used books, clothing, furniture, working electronics, household appliances, cookware, tools, craft supplies, and more, to be donated to area non-profits and distributed back into the community.

These are, for the most part, completely unedited and being posted "as is". I'll try to clean up the lighting and color on a few of the better ones and post them later, but these are pretty much the raw dump. All I've done here is remove things that are terribly out of focus, or have some other really obvious problem.
This production used recycled/reused materials for both the set and costuming whenever possible.
Many thanks to Ray and the cast and crew for letting me barge in and take pictures during this rehearsal. The show was enormously fun, and I really enjoyed shooting.

Volunteers sorting shoes to be used in the re-use a shoe program. Volunteers had to take out any shoes with heels over 3 inches as well as any flip flops or sandals.
An adaptively reused set of structures that once served as the various mills and warehouses of the American Tobacco Company, the American Tobacco Campus, or American Tobacco Historic District, sits on the south side of Downtown Durham. I spray painted the card blue to make it "pretty" haha... made entirely of garbage found in the area...
includes: tim hortons coffee lid (painted blue), bottle labels, price tags, junk mail, candy wrappers, etc..

Austin Creative Reuse hosted two materials drive for Austin educators: school teachers (public, private, charter), after school teachers, day care providers, etc. They received materials for use in their classrooms and programs. We collected materials from the community and local businesses and distributed to Austin area educators. They were so appreciative and we were happy to support the community.
