Feels good to have my lip ring in instead of my retainer. I've been working for the last six days so I haven't bothered to switch it back and forth. Today at work was really slow - waited tables for two hours, made $20, came home. Pretty much a waste of time when you include the hour of cleaning/setting up before and after. Went to Grandma's house to celebrate her birthday. Fun as always. Listened to the Stars game on the radio (5-2 Stars!), played with Chapis and Patrick (walking! giving high fives!), talked about hockey, ate cupcakes... Good times. And now I'm off work until Saturday morning. Just thinking about that relaxes me.

This is the part that's broken on my camera. It's the spring-loaded retainer for the battery. Fortunately, the battery and camera still work without it. I guess it's just a convenience so the batter doesn't pop out when you simply want to remove the memory card. Oh well...
