Integrity Toys "Dracula and his Brides: The Eternal Collection" Lucy 1/6-scale fashion doll, circa 2011 release.
In keeping with an idea proposed by MiskatonicNick, I, too, shall rechristen "Lucy" as "Mircalla, Countess Karnstein," a reference to the Sheridan Le Fanu story Carmilla and to the Hammer Studios motion picture of the same name.

Canadian Pacific's Nelson Station recently received a full restoration. The beautiful heritage building has been returned to it's former glory, thus trying to create an image from it's glory days. With that being said, in it's prime the surrounding area, and locomotives, looked a lot different...

As those who look in here often will already know, I derive great pleasure from attemting to repair old basket case photos. This one wasn't accomplished using AI but just determination that an image I took one evening in Port Talbot on cr@ppy film, could be better. OK its not fabulous now, but its infinitely better than I ever saw it when it came back from Truprint in my youth!
YWN 555J was a Willowbrook bodied AEC Reliance 505 (with semi-auto gearbox) that had been new to South Wales Transport in May of 1971. It would have been about ten years old when I photographed it here wearing NBC inspired local Afanway branding.
It's that time of the year once again, to resurrect the Winter Village. This year, I have created a Winter Village Train Station and Jason from Constructibles has created beautiful building instructions.
If you would like to add this Winter Village Train Station to your Winter Village, they are available for purchase through this Rebrickable page. See what parts you need and choose for yourself if you want to purchase the instructions. The platform expansion as shown in this image is included at no additional cost.
If gathering parts is not your thing, check out Constructibles store for kits of this train station. They sell out quick, but the kit will be available again. So keep checking back. The kit also comes with beautiful high quality printed instructions, nicely bagged parts and a custom stickers for the black oval sign. See their website for more details.
Thanks for reading and supporting my custom Winter Village designs.
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Latin: Sanctum Sepulchrum), also called the Church of the Resurrection (Greek: Ναός της Αναστάσεως, Naos tis Anastaseos; Arabic: كنيسة القيامة, Kanīsat al-Qiyāma; Armenian: Սուրբ Հարություն, Surp Harutyun) by Eastern Christians, is a Christian church within the walled Old City of Jerusalem.
The site is venerated by many Christians as Golgotha, (the Hill of Calvary), where the New Testament says that Jesus was crucified, and is said to also contain the place where Jesus was buried (the sepulchre). The church has been an important pilgrimage destination since at least the 4th century, as the purported site of the death and resurrection of Jesus. Today it also serves as the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, while control of the building is shared between several Christian churches and secular entities in complicated arrangements essentially unchanged for centuries.
This is a photo I thought I had lost when the ipod I had it stored on went kerplunk. But it has now been resurrected!
p.s. I swear I'm not a morbid person

Some of the recent macro work on here has had me looking back on my work, so thought I would bring this Hoverfly back up my account
A few friends and fans of Flickr toy photographer MiskatonicNick have developed an interest in reviving some of Nick's story characters. One of the current efforts underway is to bring back "Gavin" of the Royal Kadath Society. "Gavin" was originally embodied by an Integrity Dynamite Girls Back to Brooklyn "Gavin" fashion doll. As the original doll is long out of production and commands significant prices on the secondary market on the rare occasions when it appears, and because doll technology has changed over the last decade, a number of modern head sculpts are under consideration for Gavin 2.0.
Any thoughts? Suggestions? Objections?

A huge fire that began Friday evening around 3 a.m. on December 17, 2010 completely gutted the historic Mormon Tabernacle in Provo, Utah. The fire burned until late Saturday afternoon, leaving the historic 1898 building a total ruin. It was decided to restore and repurpose the building to become a Temple instead of a Tabernacle.
Happy Window Wednesday!

Blustons, Kentish Town England, until it closed last year (2015) was a rare example of an arcade shop and as such was afforded a Grade II listing. Unfortunately, it sat empty for a while but it has recently opened again and appears to be continuing in the 'smattah' (Yiddish for clothing) business - just like it had been since 1932. It is great to see this iconic shop in use again.

First attempt at an expansion! Now that I finally know how to do it. I'm happy. (:
It snowed today for the first time in the season. And rained. And sleeted. And hailed. And it was sunny, too! Oh, how I love how much character Michigan has. :D
This is my driveway, and I take a lot of pictures here. Here, let me note all the places I've taken pictures. ;)
