"Geoff was great! He had to work with a wide age range, from 6 years up to 18 years. He had something for everybody! The time went really fast and he was great with the kids. The best part was when he had them work scenes from Mary Poppins as an acting/audition exercise. When you take students to a show they pay attention to the singing and dancing, but get restless at the "boring talking parts" but when we saw the show Saturday, they were completely invested in those scenes! Everyone had a great day thanks to our Broadway Connection!"

This shot was taken during a tea/coffee stop as we drove along Peru's Pacific coastline (en route to Arequipa if I recall correctly). I didn't feel the need of a drink so I just wandered around with my camera. This view was taken looking back in the direction we had just travelled. I really like the effect of the breaking waves.

You'll find no bright colour in the January forest, but the pale green moss and dry orange leaves help to break through the grey hour. They sweep and crackle like soft silk on stiff crinoline, restless dancers of the deep woods. It's a hard time for a forest hiker, you can't see the ice underfoot, so I keep my steps shallow and close together. Even so, I came crashing twice on solid puddles, all my limbs flailing and cursing gravity. I don't mind the bruises, they're humility gained quickly, warnings for next time. It's the beauty I needed, set free with the windswept trees, All my life revolves around a world that no one sees...
We bought a womb sound plush toy to help put the puppies at ease when mama is away. Watch the magic happen as they all quiet down for a nap.

Graduation is on Thursday...
finals tomorrow and tuesday
and I'm stressing like CRAZY!
Math is kicking my butt, and I don't find out if I graduate or not until Wednesday... sgfhjfaghajfgh.
My mom put my ipod through the washer on accident.
My stepdad yelled at me for studying and that I needed to take my attitude to the library and study there instead of in my own home.
I injured myself about 17 times today.
I have bruises on my hips from sleeping on my sisters floor.
A cute boy, way out of my league, keeps hitting on me and is giving me unwanted butterflies.
This summer will be fairly interesting.
OH! And I've decided once I lose about 40 pounds I want to try out for America's Next Top Model? Why? Just cuz. It may be fun.
