Bill and Teddy's first cruising boat.

Another summer in the South in the USA, hiking in sundresses and criss-crossing the Southeast in a Buick, with a camera and too much coffee.

I'm calling it My Southern Summer.

Let's go.

Brought my 12-24 f4 out of retirement today. I can appreciate it more now that I've learned a little more about how to use it.

NASA acquired June 1, 2010

A small volcanic plume rose above remote Mount Cleveland on June 1, 2010. The snow-covered upper slopes of the Aleutian volcano were also marked by dark debris flow deposits (descending to the east) and ash fall to the south of the summit. The Alaska Volcano Observatory reported an ash emission above Mount Cleveland no higher than 16,000 feet (4,900 meters) on May 30th. Mount Cleveland is frequently restless, and the current activity is not unusual.

This false-color image was acquired by the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) aboard NASA’s Terra satellite. Snow is white, clouds are pink, vegetation is red, and water is almost black. Ash from Cleveland could threaten flights between Asia and North America. Satellites are the best way to monitor the volcano, which is about 900 miles (1,500 kilometers) from Anchorage, and about 2,300 miles (3,700 km) from Honolulu.

A monorail train (now scrapped) passes the Sydney Convention Centre which will also soon to be demolished. Sydney's a restless city where nothing stays the same for long.

These days Deathlessness becomes restless ...

..

you see!

It's happened again ..

solitude and restlessness ..

remoteness and desire ..

..

and it will happen again ..

again

again

..

and every time a part of me will die ..

Another fictional character inspired by the valar/valier of "The Silmarillion" of J.R.R. Tolkien. She is Earinë the restless, strong and determined, as tough and relentless as the sea is.

I have returned to old Spain once more…

not for pleasure, nor for leisure,

but to honor a debt of love.

Five years ago, on a day like today,

my grandma left this world,

alone, unseen,

a quiet casualty of COVID

and the walls that were built around us all.

Perhaps it was a death that could have been avoided.

But today, I walk toward her grave,

so she won’t feel alone,

so I’ll never forget

what she was to me.

Very active, covering her surrounding area in search of insects. Her call is akin to someone squeezing a frog.

From a tourist's point of view, the transportation in Taipei is actually very friendly and advanced. You can pretty much go everywhere without driving. Even if you go for taxi, the rate is pretty reasonable compared to cities like Hong Kong, Seoul, and Vancouver.

If you are planning to go Taiwan anytime soon, I highly recommend you getting the EasyCard where you store money to the card and use it for transportation. In addition, you can use the card in many convenient stores to make purchases.

There's a Canadian band named Skydiggers. I had their album called Restless as a teenager. There was something about the cover of that record that always appealed to me. If you google it, you'll see how it inspired this shot. One of my favourites.

My mind is a restless sea of thoughts.

Ideas come as waves,

radiating outward from my inner being.

A storm, causing ripples that thrash about in all directions.

With no form or shape,

peaking, then crashing without discretion,

a useless power.

Then ,

time and motion

commence with duty.

Aligning and combining my mental forces,

transforming scattered waves

to an organized swell

of untapped potential.

Groomed by opposing forces

of persuasive energy

the waves are shaped,

ideas take form.

Now,

marching in unison

their force can not be denied.

Exploding with precision,

over the sands of time.

Doesn't seem that restless to me...

I post this image last night, and then took it down not sure of what it was missing....after 3 interpretations of the same, playing with light and such, i had to admit, i still like the original the best ,so here is back, but i decided to go with another tittle, this image was inspired by the incredible work of Aniela`s doubles images....I am making a new set for this babies, as im planing to work on more of these

my feet looks weird in this image because i was moving when the cam took the shot, they look enlarge and the toes deformed, lol, is just motion...

Caught my eye during the journey through Great Ocean Road, Victoria. So many inspiring sceneries but with pretty much less time to grab.
