Filling out my expense report for three days
away working a gig in Virginia, during which time
I drove a little rental Toyota Prius. Probably
spent three hours on the road total, getting
between here and there and then detouring a
long way out of the way to take a nice hike
through the woods at First Landing State Park.
Usually that would cost me a gallon, maybe
two, when I topped off the tank before
returning the rental.
This time, given that it's a hybrid, it cost me
32 cents.
Actually, the pump stopped at 16 cents, but I
didn't believe it so I pushed it a little bit farther.
I don't think I'll be submitting this receipt.

At PT tonight we tried to tape the knee again to relieve the pinching feeling I get down at the base of my kneecap. It worked for a bit, I guess, but it wasn't that noticeable.
We also did measurements for the progress report to be sent for my appointment with my surgeon tomorrow. The knee is still swollen - at that black mark you see right over the kneecap, it's still 6cm larger in circumference than my good knee. That's better than right after the surgery, but still pretty swollen comparatively. My PT believes that the pain/swelling/tightness I had at the end of last week and through the weekend was due primarily to me finishing my prescription of anti-inflammatory medication and the effects of the medication wearing off. I'll talk to Dr. F about that tomorrow.
