Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, Linda Antwi, were invited to cover Debbie Durkin's Eco Oscars 2103 Gift Suite in honor of the 85th Academy Awards nominees. This year's theme goes with the celebration of 50 years of James Bond and was tied into the Jamaican Tourist Board where Ian Fleming wrote all 14 Bond novels.
The ECO Oscars were also about giving back and were partnered with the charity WE ROCK GREEN MICS, the eco-performance collective from With Our Words, Inc., a 501(c) (3) youth development nonprofit from Stockton, California. Their Green Celebrity Writing Prompts Project hopes to inspire literacy and artistry to raise awareness about ecology. About Star Wars: The Force Awakens
The May 25, 1977 theatrical debut of Star Wars --- on a scant 32 screens across America -- was destined to change the face of cinema forever. An instant classic and an unparalleled box office success, the rousing "space opera" was equal parts fairy tale, western, 1930s serial and special effects extravaganza, with roots in mythologies from cultures around the world.
From the mind of visionary writer/director George Lucas, the epic space fantasy introduced the mystical Force into the cultural vocabulary and it continues to grow, its lush universe ever-expanding through film, television, publishing, video games and more.

Yorkshire, 12th & 13th December 1866. 361 dead & 6 injured. Of these 286 lay entombed. Britains 1st worst Mining Accident surpassed in 1913 by Senghenydd Colliery to become 2nd largest explosion. The number of men and boys working in the pit on the 12th of December at the time of the explosion was 340.
There had been more in the pit during the morning, but they had come out before the usual time.
Of those who were brought out, 20 were then still living, but 14 of these have since died; six only are now living.
There were 61 brought out dead, making 81 altogether.
All those of whom I have now spoken were men and boys working at the Oaks, who were in the pit at the time of the first explosion.
The number of lives lost by this explosion is therefore 334, including those who were killed in the pit and those who have since died.
The number of lives lost by the second explosion is 27, of whom four were men working at the Oaks, and 23 were volunteers, out of 198 who went down the pit to assist.
The total loss of lives from both explosions is therefore 361.
One volunteer, Samuel Brown, was brought out alive after the third explosion.

Art direction & editorial design for The Greek Report, a new semi-monthly magazine based on political reportage, social but also cultural subjects.
Readers come across important essays, exclusive news and interviews, infographics and analysis on current events. Through the design we managed to extrude freshness, vibrancy and memorability so it could represent the basic values of it while at the same time differentiate from the competition.
The design should also be approachable and it should embody all the above essential features, since it represents not an essay-based magazine but an everyday one, with all the spontaneity and immediacy involved.
These features were also expressed not only by the vibrant layout but also typographically by the usage of two typefaces: Neutraface Text by House Industries (Greek version by Cannibal fonts), that reflects this freshness, sharpness and accuracy while the research and documentation part of the magazine was expressed through Courier New by Monotype.
