This year's theme goes with the celebration of 50 years of James Bond and was tied into the Jamaican Tourist Board where Ian Fleming wrote all 14 Bond novels.
The ECO Oscars were also about giving back and were partnered with the charity WE ROCK GREEN MICS, the eco-performance collective from With Our Words, Inc., a 501(c) (3) youth development nonprofit from Stockton, California. Their Green Celebrity Writing Prompts Project hopes to inspire literacy and artistry to raise awareness about ecology. Palestinian refugees children warm themselves during a cold weather in Gaza City on, 19 January 2018. Media report that the US President Donald J. Trump had vowed to freeze about 125 million US dollar of aid for the United Nation Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinian Refugees. The US ambassador to the United Nation (UN) Nikki Haley was quoted as saying that Trump did not want to add or stop funding until the Palestinians agree to return to the negotiation table. Following the 1948 Arab-Israel conflict, UNRWA was established by the United Nation General Assembly Resoluation 302 (IV) in 1949 to carry out direct relief and works programs for Palestinian refugees from May 1950 on. until today, some five million Palestinian refugees are eligible for their services, UNRWA says on their website.

khateeb of the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) in Makkah, Saudi Arabia
has visited Markaz (Headquarters) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind located at

A report from last month said that if Chrysler ends up offering an IPO, it could jeopardize the entire alliance between the Auburn Hills-based automaker and Fiat, but the outlet now says that an IPO could crush the dreams of hopeful Alfa Romeo 4C owners in the US. As the latest report indicates, publically traded shares would prevent Fiat from gaining full control of Chrysler. This would leave Fiat without the full access to Chrysler's cash flow, technology and manufacturing necessary to mass produce the new Alfa Romeo sport coupe inexpensively enough to export to the US.
As CEO of both Chrysler and Fiat, this puts Sergio Marchionne in an awkward position as he tries to purchase the remaining shares from the United Auto Workers union. He is tasked with getting the most money possible for Chrysler shareholders while attempting to spend the least money possible on Fiat's behalf. With Marchionne and the UAW still far apart on the value of the remaining 41.5 percent of Chrysler, the IPO would let the market decide the value of the stake while preventing a full merger between the two automakers and possibly leaving the 4C as a limited-production, Europe-only model.

Art direction & editorial design for The Greek Report, a new semi-monthly magazine based on political reportage, social but also cultural subjects.
Readers come across important essays, exclusive news and interviews, infographics and analysis on current events. Through the design we managed to extrude freshness, vibrancy and memorability so it could represent the basic values of it while at the same time differentiate from the competition.
The design should also be approachable and it should embody all the above essential features, since it represents not an essay-based magazine but an everyday one, with all the spontaneity and immediacy involved.
These features were also expressed not only by the vibrant layout but also typographically by the usage of two typefaces: Neutraface Text by House Industries (Greek version by Cannibal fonts), that reflects this freshness, sharpness and accuracy while the research and documentation part of the magazine was expressed through Courier New by Monotype.
