Full Chapter:
Acts 19
And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
7 And all the men were about twelve.
8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.
22 So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timotheus and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season.
23 And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.
24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.
26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
29 And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.
30 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.
31 And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.
32 Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused: and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.
33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people.
34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
37 For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.
38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another.
39 But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly.
40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day's uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.
41 And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.

For 20 years Leedskalnin worked secretly and by lantern light to sculpt, among other things, a throne room, telescope, fountain, sundial, furniture, "repentance corner" and a love table, all surrounded by an 8-foot wall made from 65 blocks of coral rock weighing 6 1/2 tons apiece.

Metro Praise elder, and the woman who discipled me over the summer. She immediately began teaching me about God and the Bible as soon as I came to Metro Praise in May. She is by far one of the mightiest women of God I know, as well as one of the boldest and smartest. I love her more than words can say, for how much she's put up with from me.

The clues are not here. They are not buried in the seared paint that lines the warped door frame. They are not in the wisps of lace and fabric that defied the flames consumption, they are nowhere tangible. Not here, not anywhere. I who knew it all, I who could place every polished item of ephemera that once clustered in the grand old rooms now have no compass, no material guides to lead me with the confidence I crave. What do I search for and where do I find it? Do I seek out possessions or those whose lives I once possessed? Do I really not know what it is I have lost in the consuming flames?

Last weekend we made a trip down to the Pudu Prison in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The 115 year old prison is to be demolished to make way for an urban redevelopment project. This is an attempt to document the untold stories behind the walls that have imprisoned the notorious criminals including the infamous Botak Chin.
Seeing the insides of the famous prison, I could feel a vast array of emotions. The atmosphere within these walls breathes trails of regrets, repentance, anger, sadness, loneliness, love etc.
May the lost souls of Pudu Prison rest in peace. Al Fatihah.

Open our heart to the voice of Your Word. and free us from the original darkness that shadows our vision. Restore our sight that we may look upon your Son who calls us to repentance and a change of heart, for He lives and reigns with you for ever and ever." ~ EWTN Lenten Calendar

How much light may be shining around us on every side ? Without finding an entrance into the heart. Finds no entrance for the light to pour in because we are blocked up with
self-conceit, sin, unbelief or prejudice.
We need to make straight the way of the Lord..
'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.' You leave the commandment of God and hold fast the tradition of men." Mark 7;1-8
The commandment of God is the living Spirit. - The tradition of men is the dead letter ... empty rules.
When it's a word from God ... when it's living Spirit ... it always deals with the inside of our life ... the heart.
When it's the tradition of men which turns the word of God into a dead letter ... dead words ... it deals with the outside ...the appearance.
It is often in the wilderness of life that God’s words find us.
He is going to take his bride into the wilderness and once again strip the church of Jesus Christ of all of its human resources. He is bringing his people into a last day wilderness experience. It started in the wilderness, It's going to end in the wilderness.
And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins and the whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him.
It was not only a wilderness geographically, it was a wilderness morally, it was a wilderness politically, it was a wilderness religiously. Does that sound like today ?
John’s main message wasn’t “You’re a sinner, you need to repent.” John’s main message was “The Messiah is coming.” Get ready... make straight the way of the Lord.
They left the city and went into the wilderness. They went out to him! This is interesting because repentance is deeply rooted in the wilderness. Just think of the Exodus. In order to prepare the way for Christ’s coming, God had the people go back to their beginnings with God...He had them return to the wilderness!
It is symbolic in the sense that they were called to return to a place where their dependence was solely on God. And in order to truly repent they like all of us had to exchange their pride for humility!
A Sunday School teacher asked a class what the word „repentance‟ means. A little boy put up his hand and said, “It is being sorry for your sins.”
Then a little girl raised her hand and said, “It is being sorry enough to quit.”
Repentance is more than penitence or godly sorrow for sin.‟
The Greek word for Repentance means a complete change of mind, a new direction of the will, and altered purpose in life, it is a turning away from sin and a turning to the Lord!
God in his love is going to bring his people back to their spiritual senses back to their first love in a wilderness of scarcity. He's going to woo us in the wilderness.
Isaiah 35:5-6
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
New King James Version (NKJV)
Called to Blessing
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
Romans 8:28
New King James Version (NKJV)
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Are you ready to stand before God if you died today?
The Bible declares that one day you will die and then stand face to face with God to be judged. Hebrews 9:27 reads, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Nothing in your entire life could be more important than being ready for that day, because it will determine whether you will spend eternity in heaven or in hell.
This judgment will be based on a person’s righteousness, which means to be absolutely perfect and without sin. The Bible says in Acts 17:31, “He hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained…” The man spoken of in this verse is Jesus Christ. This means that your righteousness must match that of Jesus Christ. Can you make it through your entire life without committing one single sin? Jesus Christ did, and He is the one that you will be compared with at your judgment.
On the cross, Jesus took your sin upon Himself. He died a death that you deserve to die and paid the debt that you owe to God. He paid it in full. But you must place your faith and trust in Him if you want to take advantage of that great gift and be free from sin and the punishment of sin forever. Here is how you can do that today.
First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”
Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 10:28: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Jesus Christ: fully-God and fully-man, without sin, died on the cross a death that he did not deserve in your place. Three days later he rose from the dead defeating sin, death, and the devil forever.
Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
God requires you to repent of your sin (a change of mind toward God, sin, and self) and put your faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Realize your good deeds will not save you.. that is what religion teaches; the outward appearance. God looks on the heart.
..for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

Muslim Brother Serdal. On the Night of May, 31/2009, the last night in the Blessed appartment. Meditating about where to go and how to do,Brother Serdal called Saint Djapi on phone, and when they met together few hours later, Brother Serdal, in the Name and of the Sake of ALLAH/GOD, gave Saint djapi, the amount of ($300), with which Saint Djapi will pay for a month into Zakaria house. Saint Djapi during Five years ago, had convinced brother Serdal's Faith, who a day, came to Saint Djapi and said: Brother Gibril (Gabriel=Djapi's Chosen Name=conversion to Islam), I (Serdal), had a "DREAM IN WHICH I SAW You SANIT DJAPI, SITTING IN THE MOSQUE, WHILE AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE MOSQUE, TRYING TO REMOVE My SHOES". after this, Saint Djapi prayed to ALLAH/GOD, concerning the Dream of Brother Serdal, asking ALLAH/GOD, to realise for Serdal the "GOODNESS OF his DREAM and PROTECT Serdal FROM THE BADNESS OF his DREAM". This Dream of Serdal were Causes-Motives-Reasons of Brother Serdal Interest-Love-Trust of saint Djapi. This Dream helpped Brother Serdal's Faith, strengthening him more and more. Serdal then, through this "SPIRITUAL PHENOMENON", comprehended and Understood Saint Djapi's "BLESSED LONG-SUFFERING (Q:1:18/19)", which Brother Serdal Promised himself in the Name and Sake of ALLAH/GOD, to ever assist Saint Djapi anytime he could. So five years throughout, did Serdal come in financial assistances to Saint Djapi, both Electricity bills as sometimes pocket money. Metaphysical matters, Serdal is but very younger as Saint Djapi, but affording and achieving Good and Righteous deeds, which many youngs of his age cannot. Brother Serdal was one of the few Muslims, who for five years common Prayers activities, came up to the saint Djapi's blesed appartment. Hence Blessed House, saint Djapi then Prayed to ALLAH/GOD to "BLESS ANY WHO COME INTO THE APPARTMENT". Brother Serdal, leaving for Hajj [Makkah], Promised Saint Djapi, to come to visit saint Djapi after the "PLIGRIMAGE". As promised, as done, here photo, was the day Brother serdal followed Saint Djapi in the place, which Austrian caritas gave Saint Djapi: Diakonie.
