A recent trip to Pontiac found it to be in a near ghost town existance. I couldn't believe how desolate it was. Image making was a quiet experience, but fruitful.

Collage number 9. The prompts are: a ribbon, tissue paper, found packaging or label, a repeating pattern and the bonus is something shiny.
Me being me, of course, I did not follow the prompts precisely. I have everything except I did not use a "found" packaging or label unless you count that I "found" it on the internet. I opted not to use the ribbon and went with something shiny instead. The YouTube person I follow for these challenges the most always says that the challenge is supposed to be fun and it is not the end f the world is something is different. I do not collect items to use in projects because I don't like clutter. I find images of items online and then electronically manipulate them with graphic software. It's how I create my projects and I don't feel inclined to change the way I do things. So, there! LOL!!
With all that being said, here is collage number nine:

My friend Patrick visited me today from Springfield (where the Simpsons live).
We went to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts to see a show of works by Antonio Lopez Garcia, but we were fascinated as we walked in by this remarkable work of Josiah McElheny. I can't explain why we aren't reflected in the glass objects or the mirrors around them. although we are reflected in the mirrored surface of the structure. The longer we looked at it the more mysterious it became.

I chose this shot due to the variety of components that are presented in this image. The buildings, windows, and stairs create a repeating pattern. A lone red door pops out in the area of thirds. Triangles present themselves in corners and the stairs. The combination of shapes and patterns with the gentle blend of colors had created a image pleasing to the eye.
