I was inspired initially by the idea of repeating images which depended on the natural variations in the screen printing process. No screen prints here, but I used a random number generator to determine hue and contrast settings in Photoshop

I liked the pattern of the repeating posts and reflections in this shot of a boat dock. However, I wasn't sure if this is considered a "nature" shot or not, so this is an "extra" picture I wanted to share!

For this project we were told to take two pictures, one showing a leading line and the other showing a repeating pattern.

The first picture i took shows a leading line. I took this picture near the cafeteria pressed up against the lockers. This shows a leading line in the line of locks on the lockers. I made sure i had a low angle to the lockers and the right exposer.

The next picture i took shows a repeating pattern. This picture did not turn out as well as i would have liked. i got up early to capture the sunrise but the whole picture ended up really dark. The repeating pattern is shown in the light posts along the railing.

In conclusion this project was pretty interesting and i have learned to stay low to capture the line and also take more pictures so I have more to work with
