The sand has washed away leaving the large heavy stones backed up against the remains of revetments which form an interesting repeating pattern.

It's amazing how the repeating actions of small waves can build up fascinating patterns in the ice.

Captured with converted full-spectrum camera, which does not have UV or IR filters. The most noticeable effect here is the slightly reddish tingle to the pumpkins.

Repeating this photo in my stream because this is the actual photo used to create the previous Text 2 Dream.

Crazy Tuesday Theme: Repeating Object

When you visit Thailand its impossible not to see images of the Buddha everywhere you travel . Not just in temples I remember a small supermarket in Bangkok with a statue of the Buddha at the entrance to the store . These repeating Buddha statues were in the Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon in Ayutthaya.

Ayutthaya was founded in 1350, it was the second capital of the Siamese Kingdom. It flourished from the 14th to the 18th centuries, during which time it grew to be one of the world’s largest and most cosmopolitan urban areas and a centre of global diplomacy and commerce. This particular Wat ( Temple ) was constructed by King U-thong in 1357 A.D.

THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT TO MY STREAM.

For "Crazy Tuesday" - theme : "Repeating Object" .

This wonderful bird would fly into the Hawthorne tree grad several berries and then head off to a higher tree to presumably digest them, before repeating the process. The tree still with many fruit was just above a walking trail which is in great use. After two days it took off across the park to how knows where , as it has not been sighted since

Apologies for repeating myself, but when I updated my home page I suddenly felt that these two needed to be together. Not in the least because of how they reflect the ideas behind the design of this pavilion.

"For the Sonsbeek pavilion Van Eyck provided an elementary structure of six parallel walls made out of concrete blocks, which he manipulated into a surprisingly rich and labyrinthine interior by inserting semicircular niches and apses into the rectilinear structure. Van Eyck described the result as an urban space intentionally conceived in opposition to the natural idyll of the nineteenth-century park, which followed the formal language of the English landscape garden.

The scenography aimed to create the experience of an almost spontaneous encounter with the artworks on display. This was not only communicated through the spatial typology of streets, alleys and small piazzas, but it was also crucially achieved by a relatively high density of artworks gathered together in the narrow spaces which forced one to walk by the sculptures in close proximity."
