We kept getting water, and ice in the fridge, vs. the freezer (the "beer compartment" to fridge repair guys, apparently). Eventually (months), I was able to use enough of the internet to figure out what was going on. A defrost clip had come loose (because it's crappy) and was allowing the drain to freeze up, which filled the drain tray and eventually leaked down into the fridge proper. This also froze the cold air flapper, messing with cooling settings. Took it all apart and fixed it. Still works months later. Interesting work, and not that hard, but took most of the day to defrost and get it all cleaned up. Good to do in the winter, cause the food just went onto the porch.
