Removing rocks from the dark, rich soil in preparation of planting. This is the staple garden down by the river.
and someday, replacing it with mulch. Hopefully that will cut down on mowing during the summer months.
We had perfect weather to work with over 65 dedicated volunteers at Bear Creek Park and Stream as they removed trash and debris from the stream and the adjacent park. This included 180 bags of trash, an office chair, 3 bicycles, a minibike, the roll cage from a go-cart, much more! Thank you everyone so very much for all your incredible hard work under such tough conditions! Our volunteer’s dedication of working toward a cleaner, greener, healthier community and environment is without equal! Thank to everyone who volunteered with us today.
We would also like to thank the Ocean Conservancy, American Rivers, Day to Serve, National Public Lands Day and Trash Free Maryland for all their assistance and support on this cleanup. We could like to thank Chick fila Eastpoint for their incredible donation of chicken sandwiches, iced tea and cookies, Pap Johns Dundalk for donating pizza, Squires for donating pizza, Robert Jones for cooking and donating pulled pork and rolls. We also wish to thank Tradepoint Atlantic and Walmart for your generous donations allowing is to purchase much needed supplies! We would also like to thank CCBC, Towson University, the U. A Diamond By Jack Spicer
A diamond Is there At the heart of the moon or the branches or my nakedness And there is nothing in the universe like diamond Nothing in the whole mind. The poem is a seagull resting on a pier at the end of the ocean. A dog howls at the moon A dog howls at the branches A dog howls at the nakedness A dog howling with pure mind. I ask for the poem to be as pure as a seagull’s belly. The universe falls apart and discloses a diamond Two words called seagull are peacefully floating out where the waves are. The dog is dead there with the moon, with the branches, with my nakedness And there is nothing in the universe like diamond Nothing in the whole mind.

Removing all the basic boot (trunk) stuff on Velma, my 2004 Prius, to see just how much space is there for a PHEV conversion.
There was a 70+ year old pet stain (stoopid pets) on the hardwood floor under the 4+ layers of flooring. It wasn't too bad until we coated the floor with polyurethane, then it turned freekin' BLACK.
We decided that the best way to deal with it was replace the boards, stealing some of them from the area that will be under the cabinets.
This picture is me knocking out the old sections of floorboard. I used the circular saw to cut the center section the long way, a Dremel oscillating saw to make the end/short cuts, pulled up the center piece, then knocked the side pieces into the cavity I created.
ingredients;
- trigger
- antenna (copper coated steel, no idea where i got it from)
- hobby gold plugs (rc stuff)

MFA AC+D Graduate Exhibition: SEVERAL STEPS REMOVED
May 22, 2015 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
We are makers of objects, interfaces, environments, and experiences. Through actual and digital means, we exhaustively explore material, investigate process and manifest ideas in provocatively meaningful ways. We have learned to build with intention, always seeking meaning and purpose, not just highly polished results.
As we reach this stage of our creative endeavor, we stop to reflect - several steps removed – so that we can better observe and gain perspective on our personal and creative progress.
