The University of Chicago is removing many of the windows in the building in preparation for the building becoming The Milton Friedman Institute for Research in Economics.
I couldn't bring a tripod in today, so this photograph was taken handheld and high-ISO. Taken through a glass door.

Hello! We know it as the result of a military experiment by Turians and people. We know it as one of the fastest ships from the Mass Effect universe. We know her as a punching bag for the Collectors ship, which they mistook for the Geth ship. We also know her as the ship from which mako jumped gaily, especially on Ilos. And so, let me introduce you: Normandy SR-1!
That's right, this is the ship on which we traveled along the Milky Way in the first part, on the elevator of which we constantly went down to the cargo compartment to listen to Rex's stories, talk with Ashley about God, chat with Garrus and be interested in Tali's stories. I don’t know why, there was absolutely no interest in communicating with Adams. Again, the opinion is subjective.
As you clearly know, I adore the Mass Effect universe, and try to recreate it from Lego. Let's see what the features of Lego Normandy are:
1) The upper hull is held on removable pins and is removed, opening us the side of the ship.
2) On board the ship in the bow you can see the joker, the main crew, the map of the galaxy, and the meeting room, where Ashley loved to dig into Liara
3) I don’t quite know what this part is called for; on the extreme part of the wings it took shape in the original game upon landing. My Normandy owns the same function.
4) The cargo compartment opens and hides there ... Mako M-35! The smaller version, of course:) Further in the plans to do some model from Halo Wars 2, then further try to make the Mass Effect model. Most likely, it will be a storm from Andromeda. Whoever says anything, but I liked this game. With a bunch of stocks, but still liked it:) That's all, thanks for your attention, I'm glad if you liked this model. Write what you think about it, what you can do. (facing east) Crews remove the buried foundation of a building that once stood at the site. Crews are clearing room for installing stone columns to stabilize the soil.
Dr Aphra 3.75" with removable hat: Uses TVC 129 with modified head. I took off the hat w/hair piece from the head and dremeled out the inside of the hat to make it thinner and cut off the hair pieces - I left a little bit of the hair at the ends of the hat flaps and painted them as though they were straps. I thinned out and modified a hair piece taken off a Marvel Infinites Emma Frost, then repainted and glued it to the Dr Aphra head.

This photo meets the requirements of the assignment because the two tree stumps in the photo have been removed. They definitely distracted from the feel of this snowy day picture. I like the way the front steps lead you down into the picture.
I would use this picture to evoke a response in writing class. The prompt would be something like "What is happening inside the house on this snowy day?"
I learned many things attempting to eliminate the tree stumps. It is easier to cover up objects using a bigger brush. Choose the area carefully or it shows up as brighter or different from the selected area.

The beam is removed from Tina's eye and we can proceed...thoroughly humbled.
I went along as a guest and photographer for what was to be a mild family adventure outing (a friends family) at Rausch Creek Adventure Park which is an offroad vehicle park.
Well, Tina had more adventure than she bargained for! Some trail hygiene left a cut tree on a hill above this trail and it decided to come sliding down and jump in her Jeep. A moment of high "pucker factor" as we say in the offroading community.
I actually drove this Jeep 70 miles back from the park at highway speeds and that was also an adventure. Some glass would occasionally blow back at me and the windshield creaked ominously at 55 mph but it held. Thank you Jesus!
Not that it matters, but all shots taken with a Nikon 18-200mm handheld and processed in Nikon ViewNX with no cropping.
Sleeves removed, slimmed and shortened. Sides torn out and taken in about 2 inches total on each side. Sides of pockets and pocket flaps torn out and re-sewn. The jacket has no lining, which makes for a much simpler job. Also, the wool is so thick and strong that taking out old seams or mistakes is pretty easy.
Jefferson's bookbinder alternately glued one or two 1 cm wide folded paper "stubs" onto the centerfold of each folio. The stubs added thickness to the spine side of the pages to compensate for the added thickness in the middle where Jefferson had glued the clippings. The stubs were causing damage to Jefferson's pages when the book was opened. Ninety-eight percent of Jefferson's pages had either torn or cracked where they came into contact with the stubs as the book was opened. The conservators removed the stubs by applying a water-based poultice to them, which softened the adhesive, and gently separating the stubs from the Jefferson pages using a micro-spatula. The stubs were labeled and placed in protective enclosures as part of the artifact's historical record. Watermarks on the stubs indicate that this paper was made by P.A. Mesier between the years 1817-1822.
