So the Honda Element was overheating, and I was like shit, now what? So I called around, one Dealership said between $1,000 and $3,000 because they could not tell until they got in there, and then the other said with all the parts and labor it would be $1,823 and they would throw in a free oil change, and I was like that sounds like a hell of a deal! So I scratched my head and figured if those boobs working in the garage at Honda can do it in 6 hours, I bet I can do it myself. So over to O'Rileys I went, picked up the part for $74 and off I went, within the first twenty minutes of cussing at Hotel Element struggling to get the fan piece out, I knew why they charge $200 to take this shit apart, but I figured once again if those boobs at the Honda Stealership can do it, so can I, so 2.5 hours, it was out, disassembled and put back together and is up and running again! Once again, I saved $1,749 by doing it myself!

During the week of March 24, 2014, two iconic tolls booths were removed from the 73 Toll Road’s Catalina View Mainline Toll Plaza in preparation for the end of cash toll collection on The Toll Roads (State Routes 73, 133, 241 and 261).
Construction crews used a 40-ton crane to dismantle and remove the toll booths. Combined, the toll booths (which measure nearly 19 feet tall, 4 feet wide and 11 feet long) have processed more than 10 million cash transactions since they were opened in 1996.
In May, The Toll Roads will end cash toll collection, so customers will never have to stop and pay their tolls. All tolls will be paid electronically through three different options: 1) a FasTrak® account 2) an ExpressAccount™ or 3) One-Time-Toll™, which does not require the driver to have an account and is designed for infrequent users and visitors.

Like the instructions say, this part is scary — popping those keycaps off is like trying to break your own finger.
The next step involved removing thirteen (13) screws.

Had I appreciated the ferocity of Altadena summers, I would not have put the palo verde tree in the patio before setting the path. Clearing the palo verde gave the path a rather wider turn than it would have had if it had the lovely logic of a dog's route.
Following refurbishment in the 1990s, a Circle line train was branded inside and out with Yellow Pages branding. As part of this, the Advertisment frames were painted yellow to match the special Yellow Pages seat moquette (now removed) and the special Yellow Pages external branding (also, now removed)
Here, a Yellow Advertisment frame lives on, a small reminder of the money spinner this train used to be.
Despite the heat, over 20 volunteers arrived early on Saturday, July 10, 2021, to help Clean Bread and Cheese Creek Community Cleanups remove over 22 bags of trash including a two shopping carts, a framed picture, several car parts and much more from three of our communities War of 1812 Monuments: Battle Acre Park, North Point Battlefield Park, and the Methodist Meeting House Monument and Bread and Cheese Creek at North Point Road. In addition to removing trash from the sites we also removed weeds from the brick work and monuments, cleaned the monument drains at Battle Acre, as well as mulching the area around the Methodist Meeting House Monument. We would genuinely like to thank the volunteers from the community who gave up their Saturday Morning to help us beautify and clean these important historic sites! Those who have given their lives defending our country should never be forgotten no longer how long ago their sacrifice was made.
We truly with to thank the Patriotic Order Sons of America for volunteering with us today! The They donated water, snacks, funds, a new flag for Battle Acre and several smaller flags for the other sites as well. We look forward to working more with them in the future, It was their organization who paid for and installed the Methodist Meeting House Monument over a hundred year ago!
We would also like to thank WJZ TV for sending out a cameraman to cover the cleanup and the importance of remembering our fallen heroes, the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, American Rivers, for all their assistance and support on this cleanup. Thank you so much everyone for another incredible job and another win for the environment!

Edited United States Navy aerial image of the Mobile Diving Salvage Unit removing fuel from the World War II-era German cruiser Prinz Eugen, expended in a nuclear test many years ago.
Original caption: KWAJALEIN ATOLL, Marshall Islands (Sept. 4, 2018) The Military Sealift Command salvage ship USNS Salvor (T-ARS 52) and products tanker Humber sit moored over the capsized World War II German heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen during an oil recovery project. The U.S. Army, in partnership with the U.S. Navy and the Republic of the Marshall Islands are conducting the recovery effort to ensure mission capability of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command’s Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site on Kwajalein while protecting the sensitive ecosystem within the atoll. The Prinz Eugen was transferred to the U.S. Navy as a war prize from the British Royal Navy after the war, and in 1946, it was loaded with oil and cargo and used to test survivability of warships during the Operation Crossroads atomic bomb tests at Bikini Atoll. The operation is being performed by Naval Sea Systems Command, Office of the Supervisor of Salvage engineers and is expected to last until the end of October. (U.S. Navy photo by LeighAhn Ferrari)
Deboxing Disgust. First she is removed from the box by breaking the seals on the top lid, and sliding out the inner box. She and her accessories are attached to the back of inner box with plastic forms, wires, rubber bands and plastic T-tabs.
Detailed photos of the Disgust Talking 9'' Doll from the upcoming Disney/Pixar animated film Inside Out.
She says 11 different short phrases when her right hand is touched. Her head also glows while she are talking. The sound button is much more reliable than the ones in the old 17'' singing and talking dolls by the Disney Store.
She comes with a plastic sphere that is supposed to contain an actual emotion of their host, Riley. You are supposed put a small closeup photo of you experiencing Disgust into a slot in the sphere. A plastic tab inserted behind the photo keeps it secure. A small post in the bottom of the sphere then fits into a small hole in the palm of the doll, so she can hold the sphere securely.
The doll has limited articulation. She has stiff legs, and have no wrist joints on her right arm, due to the sound mechanism.
Her hair is very stiff to keep their severe styling. Disgust has tinseled green hair with wide side flip curls. She also has outlandishly long and thick glittering green eyelashes. She has narrow green eyes and green skin. Her small closed mouth is in a curled grimace.
She has a green glittery dress with a floral printed pattern, is wearing long pants underneath. Disgust has painted on pink shoes. She has very small feet, and is very top heavy, so she cannot free stand.
Disgust is 9'' tall, with an outsized head, so she has short legs. Therefore my Kaiser stand that was made for 11 1/2 inch Barbie type dolls leaves her with her feet dangling in the air by more than an inch. The Inside Out magnets are useful to attach to the base of the metal Kaiser stands to make them more stable, as well as decorate them with another image of the character.
She is very nicely made and accurately depicts her animated character.

Torrumbarry Weir is located on the Murray River, 35 km north-west of Echuca.
The original Torrumbarry Weir used 14 removable steel trestles that could be winched out of the river to allow the passage of floods. The first diversions from the weir pool occurred in June 1923.
The structure operated successfully until 1992, when major damage to its foundations occurred. Extensive repairs were carried out to enable the weir to continue functioning, but a recurrence of the foundation failure could not be discounted and the long-term future of the weir was in doubt.
It was decided that a new weir structure was required, and the new Torrumbarry Weir was constructed between 1993 and 1996. The existing lock structure was retained.
The original trestle weir and lock chamber have been listed as Historic Building No 993 in Victoria and permits for works need to be obtained from the Historic Buildings Council of Victoria. Major components of the trestle structure have been preserved and a Heritage Display/Information Centre was established.
The pool formed by Torrumbarry Weir allows for diversions into the Torrumbarry Irrigation Area via the National Channel. Approximately 500,000 ML is diverted to 120,000 ha of irrigated land each year, yielding agricultural products with a gross value of about $130 million.
Torrumbarry Weir also provides water for the Kerang Lakes.
