We removed all of the lower saloon panels on the offside yesterday. The wood frame was a mixture of very good to poor. The window pan bottoms are in a shocking state and will all have to have some significant work done on them or replaced totally.

yes, if there is water in his pool, he MUST remove ALL of it. Not exactly sure why ... but it seems to be so.

The plus side is that he waters the lawn pretty good and he does an amazing water sprinkler impression. hehe!

Despite a very chilly and overcast morning, today (4/25/15) over 745 volunteer descended upon Bear Creek to work with Clean Bread and Cheese Creek as we removed over 1,221 bags of trash from the park and shoreline!!! This what we believe is the largest cleanup participation in the Dundalk EVER!!! Our incredible volunteer worked from Bear Creek Elementary School (which we were restricted from cleaning behind) to General John Stricker Middle School (which we were restricted form cleaning behind) and Charlesmont Park – the area was nearly spotless!!! We completely filled a 40 yard dumpster of bags filled with bottles, fast food packaging, lawn decorations, pieces of broken furniture, clothing, balls (golf, soccer, baseball, softball, football and more!), plastic bins, Styrofoam, plastic bags and broken sports equipment! In addition to this we removed 3 shopping carts, 3 skateboards, 2 bicycles, a full propane tank, a steel 55 gallon drum and a plastic 55 gallon drum! We could have cleaned much more with so many enthusiastic volunteers but we were unfortunately restricted form cleaning behind any of the three area schools (Bear Creek Elementary School, General John Stricker Middle School, and Charlesmont Elementary School). Volunteers you have outdone yourselves again and we could not be more grateful for all your hard work!!!

612 Volunteer alone arrived from Towson University in 14 school busses and dozens of cars! We also have volunteers from AmeriCorp, American Rivers, St. Timothy’s Schools for Girls, the US Navy, BGE, the US Army, Service Coordination Inc., PSAFC ’05 U9 Boys Soccer Team Pro Soccer Academy Futbol Club, as well as parents faculty and staff of Bear Creek and Charlesmont Elementary Schools and many community members! (If we forgot to mention your group, we apologize, please let us know and we will add them. Thank again everyone for such and wonderful job

And of course we have to thank the American Rivers for donating trash bags, Papa Johns Pizza for donating pizzas, Chesapeake Traders Food Warehouse for donating snacks, Costco for donating a gift card to purchase supplies, Angels for Soldiers for donating snacks, Walmart for donating a gift card to purchase supplies, Chick-fil-A of Eastpoint for donating sandwich coupons and McDonald’s of Wise Avenue for donating money to help purchase supplies. Thank you everyone for all your hard work today and for making an amazing difference for our environment and the community!

I have a cabinet in my office filled with this crap. That's an old 44MB SyQuest drive with SCSI interface, and a buttload of cartridges stacked around it. Even my Iomega Zip drive and cartridges have been relegated to this penalty box. Once I passed the point where I had more photos in a press publication than would fit on a 100MB Zip disk, I just started burning CDs to deliver to press.

Removed from ancient temple in Honan Province, China, by a reporter from the Tribune

Before the Tribune Tower was built, correspondents for the Chicago Tribune brought back rocks and bricks from a variety of historically important sites throughout the world at the request of Colonel McCormick. Many of these reliefs have been incorporated into the lowest levels of the building and are labeled with their location of origin. In all, there are 136 fragments in the building.

I know what you're thinkin', bub. Question is, can I get Wolverine before he turns me into shishkabob with those claws? Well, bub, seein' as how these claws are adamantium, the strongest metal known, and can slice through vanadium steel like a hot knife through butter, buddy, you gotta ask yourself. Do I feel lucky? *SNIKT* My name is Wolverine.

I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn't very nice. *SNIKT*

Christopher removes the diving helmet for a photo at the end of the dive with Aquablue. There are no special seals around the helmet, it just sits there and you can breathe normally as air is lighter than water. The throwaway camera you can see here (obviously not used here) also gives great underwater photos. Don't forget the rubber strap...

These photos and videos show the 121 volunteers hard at work in Bread and Cheese Creek in the Berkshire area and along the Berkshire Road Tributary on 4/14/12. Together we cut up and removed 8 fallen trees blocking the flow of the stream, over a Forty Yard dumpsters worth of trash and debris (475 trash bags) as well over 2,000 pounds of metal, which included 6 shopping carts, 5 tires, 5 unused shotgun shells, 5 full cans of spray paint, 3 bicycles, 3 cell phones, 2 scooters, 2 TV sets, 2 tire rims, a recliner, a port hole, a car batteries, a lawnmower, a can of paint, a concrete donkey and much, much more!

All left over donated food is re-donated to the local food kitchen “Saint Rita's Table”; which hosts dinners for Dundalk's needy and homeless every Monday evening.

Although we had help and volunteers from many organizations we would like thank the following: The Ocean Conservancy, Sun Products Corporation, American Rivers, Entenmanns Discount Bakery Outlet of Dundalk, DEPS, Baltimore County Highways, Charlie’s Discount, The Baltimore County Geocache Club, Team HellCamino , Gold’s Gym, Gotugo, Constellation Energy, Towson University and Circle K, and the Boy Scouts all provided lots of hardworking volunteers! ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS – We couldn’t do any of this without you!

If we missed your group, please let us know and we will include you as well!

We are a not-for-profit organization with no paid positions and absolutely no funding relying completely upon donations to clean and restore the environment in the Dundalk Area.

Thank you volunteers and sponsors, we couldn't do it without you!
