The quiet and remote country church at Cratfield has features dating back as far as the 14th century. The tower to the west is a 15th century construction. In the spandrels above the door there are beautifully carved figures of a woodwose or wildman, with a club and shield, and a dragon or wyvern. These are as well preserved and striking as those at Peasenhall. The main treasure within the church is a superb 15th century Seven Sacrament font which has been described as one of the finest in England. The carvings are beautifully and skillfully executed and all but two of the panels have survived to the present day, having spent several centuries behind plaster. The carvings of the Mass and Confession have been destroyed, probably during the Reformation, but the other six faces of the font bowl remain to depict the Crucifixion, Baptism, Confirmation, Ordination, Marriage, and the Last Rites. The stem of the bowl is equally striking with figures beneath canopied niches and seated figures at the base. Traces of paint remain to give an idea of how the font might have originally looked.

also, movies are now on-demand so the movie starts when you want rather then missing the first 15-20 min because of in flight announcements

Crisp Point Light sits on a remote portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula along the Lake Superior shore. The lighthouse sits west of Paradise and north of Newburry and was completed by 1904. It is quite an adventure to get there, but it is a beautiful site. Were there no black biting flies, it would have been a perfect day. I will write about this later. Still, I was able to get around while being eaten alive by the worst bugs on the planet.

It makes me wonder what the context was. Did someone set this up for a young child or an older relative? Or did they do it for themselves?
In any case, it's a great reminder of why us user experience professionals do what we do.
For those of us in design: remember, you shouldn't build for *all* the edge cases. You shouldn't even build for most of them.

Originally controlled from Cromwell Road/Curve cabin. First controlled by push pull levers at Cromwell, then route buttons from Cromwell. Control was then control transferred to Earl's Court control room. This frame was decommissioned, and the new 'V' style was brought into use, but still controlled from Earl's Court. The area is now supervised from the Hammersmith control room using the new TBTC system.
