I found this app today. It lets you control your camera over Wifi, from your iPhone. The paid version gives you access to the Live View mode also. You also get the ability to change the aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance right from your phone. Very Cool!
It amuses me to see these signs for adult stores along the highway, often in the middle of nowhere (or so it seems). With the internet, it seems that such places would be a losing proposition. I can't imagine working there would be a joy, either. But, they must get enough business to stay in operation.

There's room to install a larger oil filter in here and you can see the two blank ports on the remote housing.
To the left of the filter you can see the black original steel pipe that has been rotated to fit plump in the oil cooler. The black rubber hose that returns to the water header had to be lengthened. An elbow from a Bi-turbo was used to plum the original black steel pipe into the Mocal cooler, which helps keep an original look!
I got a remote control for my Nikon D40 for my birthday (which isn't until the 26th, but the package from my parents got here quickly). Here's my first shot using it, of me looking like crap. At least my apartment is suitably clean.
Looking along the outer wall of Resafa gives an impression of how remote this "ghost town" in central Syria is.

Long time, no post.
I haven't really been taking anything lately,
but considering what I got for Christmas, I think I'll be fine now.
:D
I finally got a remote & tripod
and I looooove them both.
It makes photographing myself and others SO much easier.
PS:
I want a ferret...
badly.
It has been a hard thing to manage the air conditioning, thank you Nori-chan! Oh well... I tried some star photos again, since i got a remote control release now. But the mooooon was way too bright this time, so the results sucked.
I kinda liked this one though. Might be boring to you guys, i don't know... maybe i just like it because i know how nice it was to stand there and stare at the sky :)
Just some fun with my iphone
Iphone in one hand, Remote Control in the other. Couldn't do it with my Canon thats for sure
the room was not large enough to completely cover his head. I found it nice to work with DPP, reducing highlights to get a smooth skin ton.
My new speakers (Altec Lansing VS3151R) came with the tiniest remote control. I've included my mobile phone in the line-up to assist with scale.
