Oil palm is a species of palms that has highest oil-yielding capability among other oil crops. It has a massive plantation in south-East Asia, especially in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Palm oil is most consumed vegetable oil in the world. This is a big industry in world market and a boost for many economic factors. On the other hand the cultivation of palms also endangered biodiversity, cause deforestation and degrade the environment. It is very important to analyze and control this kind of plantation. Remote sensing is used to monitor the status and progress of oil palm development. It also help in decision-making for an efficient plantation management and investigate the effects of oil palm plantations on the environment. In oil palm plantation monitoring, remote sensing has been used in various applications, including land cover classification, automatic tree counting, change detection, age estimation, above ground biomass (AGB) estimation, carbon estimation, pest and disease detection, and yield estimation.

The yokel controlling the tractor is a perfect specimen of the use of bizarre examples. I love the fact that he's not even watching the tractor; just gawping moronically
ahead!
"What's next, Charles?"
"'Remote'."
"Hmm. Let's have a yokel operating a remote control tractor."
"Consider it done. I know a farmer chap who'll pose for sixpence."
School starts tomorrow. I'm not ready. I haven't been playing piano as much lately but I should. I need to buy some fuji velvia film. I LOVE my remote.
Sunny got me the Xbox 360 Logitech Harmony remote for Christmas, it's awesome, and replaces all the other remotes shown.
Not exactly the prettiest remote, but I think I really dig using my iPad and/or iPhone as a remote control for my TV.

Looking up the valley from opposite Cwmorthin Quarry and Mine. To the right are the tips and three adits of Conglog Slate mine and towering to the left of the tree is one of Rhosydd's big tips.
No-one lives in this valley which was once alive with people, as the old chapel shows.

These Wii remote and nunchuck are all Nintendo official controllers. To make gaming as accessible to people of all ages and all abilities, Nintendo wanted to create a controller that was as inviting as it was sophisticated. The outcome is the Wii Remote controller. Nintendo fused the familiarity of a remote control with the sophistication of motion-sensing technology to come up with an input device for the ages!Sporting the size of a traditional remote control. The wireless Wii Remote controller is a multifunctional device that is limited only by the game designer's imagination. In a tennis game, it serves as your racket you swing with your arm. In a driving game, it serves as your steering wheel. For first-person shooters, the remote acts as your weapon that you point at an enemy. The list of potential uses goes on and on.Using Bluetooth technology. The wireless Wii Remote controller sends your actions to the Wii console from as far as 30 feet away. As a pointing device, the controller can send a signal from as far as 15 feet away. Up to four Wii Remote Controllers can be connected at once, making for some great multiplayer fun!
I didn't think a picture of the TV itself could possibly do it justice, so I took a picture of the remote. The remote attracts lint and hair like crazy... not typically a problem when using it for controlling the TV, but a little frustrating when trying to take a picture. By the way, it's not weird to climb on furniture at 4am to take a picture of a remote control, is it? The TV is incredible! I don't know why I waited so long to make the switch to HD. I just watched a movie, and I kept having to remind myself to pay attention to the plot because I just kept thinking how amazing it was that the picture was so incredibly sharp.
For no particular reason I took a picture of all the remotes I own. Actually, there were a couple I couldn't find but this is most of them. My favorite is probably the Tivo remote.
