I didn't think a picture of the TV itself could possibly do it justice, so I took a picture of the remote. The remote attracts lint and hair like crazy... not typically a problem when using it for controlling the TV, but a little frustrating when trying to take a picture. By the way, it's not weird to climb on furniture at 4am to take a picture of a remote control, is it? The TV is incredible! I don't know why I waited so long to make the switch to HD. I just watched a movie, and I kept having to remind myself to pay attention to the plot because I just kept thinking how amazing it was that the picture was so incredibly sharp.
Not exactly the prettiest remote, but I think I really dig using my iPad and/or iPhone as a remote control for my TV. This is the only mode of the remote I don't quite get. Not sure exactly what this was intended to accomplish.
For no particular reason I took a picture of all the remotes I own. Actually, there were a couple I couldn't find but this is most of them. My favorite is probably the Tivo remote.
Remote control module composed of battery, RC receiver, and RC servo. Used to operate my Halloween pneumatic props for 2009--the Pop Up Ghoul and the Scary Clown in a Box.
From my archives, an image I had somehow overlooked until I stumbled across it one evening more than four months after I took it. I used a borrowed macro lens to capture this image of the remote-control device for our living-room TV set. As you see, it even includes the little specks of dust that had accumulated on the remote.

Our "remote office" on the Llapallapani side of the river. We stored our gear here and ate here during the day.
I'm building a motor drive cable for my pocket wizard to fire a EOS Rebel (XT(i)). The idea is to set it up high with a wide angle lens over a strobist event and key the camera to a shooting station's PW channel to automatically record setup shots for each shot.
Here is the superclamp + ball head setup being tested in my shop. This is gonna open up some cool possibilities at the next garage shoot.
(Side note: Can you believe this much noise is from shooting at ISO400? I'll never buy another camera with a Sony sensor in it again).
My new remote control for my home cinema. This is a Bang&Olufsen remote conotrol. I use it with a lintronic to make this an universal remote.

Downloaded the remote app for my HTC phone, just had to put in the Lan IP and port number. Also had to upload Ethtool with some code - wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW-TO_set_up_Wake-On-Lan_(...
This is to activate the Wake On Lan feature. The motherboard on the PC alows WOL, this alows the PC to be turned remotely by sending a "magic packet" massage by the internet or home network. WOL had to be activated in the BIOS too.
My toilet features:
automatic lid (senses when someone is standing in front)
butt shower (bidet towards your anus)
bidet
dryer
massage
water speed adjustment
flushing for no.1 or no.2 (saves water for no.1, how eco-friendly)
It also automatically chooses no.2 after you use butt showeing
It flushes automatically if you leave the bathroom without flushing
turbo deodorazing (your bathroom doesn't stink anymore even when you have upset stomach)
the remote also tells you what time it is
