I had a blast the other day playing with this remote-controlled robot at the KDDI Designing Studio in Harajuku. The robot is controlled through an AU mobile phone with special software, and you either make it do pre-programmed moves, or just move around with the directional pad. Seeing it get up is simply amazing.

First try at a close up. I know this is not real macro as I haven't got an actual macro lens but you can see the dust that's on the remote. Oh well, the cleaner will come one day.

It amuses me to see these signs for adult stores along the highway, often in the middle of nowhere (or so it seems). With the internet, it seems that such places would be a losing proposition. I can't imagine working there would be a joy, either. But, they must get enough business to stay in operation.

There's room to install a larger oil filter in here and you can see the two blank ports on the remote housing.

To the left of the filter you can see the black original steel pipe that has been rotated to fit plump in the oil cooler. The black rubber hose that returns to the water header had to be lengthened. An elbow from a Bi-turbo was used to plum the original black steel pipe into the Mocal cooler, which helps keep an original look!
