Reminded me of an aerial shot of another planet as I stood by the old apple tree at the bottom of the garden. The gnarled, heavily textured trunk a landscape in its own right. There may be a few more of these to come!

Pic reminds me of this great song my all time favorite singer Chris Ledoux sang. Listen to the whole song as it is pretty funny!

Listening to that song reminds me of one night after a rodeo Ledoux was singing and my brother (I think) and I were sitting on the top of the bucking chutes with FRONT ROW "seats" to his concert. Nobody else was around and we were the $#*%. Song after sone we were just sitting up there singing away with all of his old country songs. In his later years, he started to sing a little more rock n roll with a little more flare and boom like the pyrotechnics that were not quite directly under us that some stage hand is probably still laughing about when we almost flipped off the back of the chute when that fire or firework or whatever the hell it was came blowing up right next to us. Ha #*$&%^@ ha

Never again did I sit on the chutes at a Chris Ledoux concert!!!

Reminds me somewhat of a painting the way this turned out.

I appreciate each and every visit, comment and fave here on my little corner of the world as seen through my lens.

Reminding myself again of the lovely summer we had in 2018.

It seemed to be exceptionally colourful last year.

Reminds me of Pseudisotoma sensibilis.

I have been reminded that I rarely take pictures of the place where I live, so I have been searching the files for something that shows the prettiness of the Cotswolds. This is the best I can come up with at this time in the morning. One of the rare times I was not in front waiting for them to catch up!!

This detail of a White rose reminded me of folds, soft waves... white satin sheets... nights in white satin.

LARGE View On Black

Today theme is Ukranian trade. Sometimes it felt really "Back in USSR!"

The blue thing on the left is traditional scales which i remember since my early childhood. They are really in harmony with the salted cucumbers in a opened jar - probably sold by one. Only new thing is Cola bottles...

Reminds me of Spring that’s a long way from now in the Dead of Winter!

Reminds me of a pumpkin

I took this shot a few minutes after my previous post... The sky turned this intense color of pink and made for a nice glow on the ice covered sand plums. It was a very beautiful scene... not sure the shot does it justice. As always comments, faves, invites and suggestions are appreciated. Have a great weekend!!

This reminded me of some of my mom's 1950's film photographs when the shutter on her Rolleiflex was just too slow to capture the scene and the slightest movement of her hands resulted in light streaks and other surreal aberrations. For some reason, I often found those "mistakes" to be appealing and I would look at them with intense interest. I had a pretty good idea when I clicked the shutter on this photograph that it was way too slow and that turned out to be correct. The photograph looks like this couple was suddenly dropped out of the night sky and into their seats in the diner -- a surreal moment we might have seen on the 1960's TV show "The Twilight Zone" -- and it took me on a ride down memory lane that was quite pleasant.

Reminds me of The Beetle's song - "When i'm 64"

When I get older losing my hair

Many years from now

Will you still be sending me a Valentine

Birthday greetings bottle of wine

If I'd been out till quarter to three

Would you lock the door

Will you still need me, will you still feed me

When I'm sixty-four

You'll be older too

And if you say the word

I could stay with you

I could be handy, mending a fuse

When your lights have gone

You can knit a sweater by the fireside

Sunday mornings go for a ride

Doing the garden, digging the weeds

Who could ask for more

Will you still need me, will you still feed me

When I'm sixty-four

Every summer we can rent a cottage

In the Isle of Wight, if it's not too dear

We shall…

I hope you have a weekend filled with joyful surprises!!

Reminded me of the song, Blue Skies, written by Irving Berlin in 1926.

Blue skies smiling at me Nothing but blue skies do I see Bluebirds singing a song Nothing but blue skies from now on I never saw the sun shining so bright Never saw things going so right Noticing the days hurrying by When you're in love my how they fly by Blue days all of them gone Nothing but blue skies from now on

reminds me of our Outback harsh n sparse yet full of life you think could never survive.

Reminds me of a childhood story.

As a kid I would sneak into the kitchen to see if I could sneak a cookie after I was suppose to be in bed, this very quickly became sort of a game for me. The cookie jar made a bit noise when you put the lid on it. I would use my best Indiana Jones tip toe and ever so quietly grab the cookie. The difference between me and that Dr. Jones was I always got caught. But my mother always waited until I had the cooking in my mouth before I got the stern warning, I needed to put that back. (I think she did that on purpose)

... loot, pillage, rape and plunder the American working class? However, I don't need any reminder to understand what all this is about: it is not "America" that will be great again. The money that is now going to be extracted will be used to finance the tax reductions for the rich. Bad news for the American worker. And for workers anywhere. Fuji X-E3.
