Christopher Finckel has tremendous depth of experience to draw from when managing relocation accounts. He has an extensive sixteen year experience in global corporate relocation, as well as a real estate background.
Prior to joining CapRelo, Mr. Finckel spent six years managing the full-service relocation program and overseeing all aspects of the relocation process including; reviewing relocation policies, conducting monthly and quarterly client report meetings, and overseeing all daily account activity. Prior to that, he managed a team of subject matter experts in relocation appraisal review, property inspection and title examination, real estate inventory acquisition and disposition.

Greatest thing. This 113 year old sequoia was planted in Boise and instead of chopping it down, they are relocating it across the street. It's hard to tell but they have created a circle of boards around the tree to make a HUGE rootball that they will air lift out and slowly move it across the way. I live that this city has such respect for our environment.

Lisa and I are relocating a feral cat who can't go back home and who has shown zero inclination to become a housecat. She will stay in this setup for about three weeks to become comfortable with her new surroundings. Then hopefully she'll choose to stay once we open the crate door. Supplies: A large dog crate rainproofed with clear shower curtains, with a litterbox, food, a small shelter box and a water dish (out of the frame). We're counting on her to run into the storage tub when we approach to tend to litter and food.
Relocated was a three year (2001 – 2003) project based at Kensington public housing estate.
Photographer Angela Bailey and writer Angela Costi were based at the estate and worked with tenants and relocated tenants to document the redevelopment of this estate in physical, social and emotional terms and to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution made by tenants (past and present) to Kensington and to Melbourne generally.
This public housing estate was redeveloped into a new public/private housing development and 400 households (around 1000 people) were relocated temporarily or permanently from the estate to suburbs across Melbourne. Given the small size of Kensington (approximately 5000 people), this redevelopment signified a huge shift locally.
The project was a collaboration with the Tenants Union of Victoria, the Kensington Public Tenants Association, and the Office of Housing. Public outcomes of reLOCATED included an exhibition and public performance on the estate, an exhibition at Horti Hall Gallery in Carlton, and the publication of a book.

Thanks to a team of conservation partners – including the Harris Center’s very own citizen scientists! – an undersized culvert on Falls Brook at Hale Hill Road in Swanzey is being replaced with a new, flood-resilient and wildlife-friendly open-bottom arch crossing. This exciting stream restoration project will re-connect more than 20 miles of stream habitat for wild brook trout, dace, and other aquatic wildlife. Here, DES staff relocate fish, turtles, and crawfish during the initial de-watering of the stream prior to construction.
