Homework page explaining how colour relates to my personal theme: Junkyard Still-life

This is a prototype for my final piece that relates to my project on the mundane and cutlery.

Close up in top left shows the joint between the base and the black beam.

I originally planned to create a mobile suspended from the ceiling however I simplified this much more complex design into a piece inspired by Alexander Calder's stabiles.

This is an image of five items of cutlery, three of which are laser cut into wood, and two of which were the combination of my own handles and my laser cuts.

I then attached these items onto a wooden beam that I had spray painted black. I attached the items using hooks that I had drilled into the cutlery and into the beam. I measured these items so that they would be perfectly balanced and so that knife was alone on one side as it had a Jesmonite handle and was the heaviest item.

For the base of this mobile I create two irregular curved forms with flat bases, I then cut grooves into the pieces of wood and slotted them together to form a stand. I spray painted this blue and the put a nail in the top of the stand to support the beam.

This nail is shown in the close up in the top left, the nail is carefully placed against the black beam so that the whole structure is perfectly balanced.

#StrengthsFinder #CliftonStrengths #Relator #StrengthsFinderFun • When we think about people with the Relator talent theme, we might sometimes think about how they have a constant need to want to connect on a deeper level. Why whatsapp long messages when you could just call the other person? Because the other person can now immediately understand the feelings that come along with your intended message; there is no 'emotional charades' happening. • • Nokia's slogan of 'Connecting People' is apt for all the Relators out there. • • This series is my own unique way of bringing some #Positivity to the StrengthsFinder community. #StrengthsFinderRelator • • #GallupStrengthsFinder #StrengthsQuest #StrengthsSchool #Gallup #StrengthsFinderSG #HumanResource #SelfImprovement #SelfDevelopment #TeamBuilding #StrengthsCoach #Leadership #ProfessionalDevelopment #StrengthsFinderCoach #CoachJasonHo Jason Ho • SouthEast Asia & Singapore's 1st StrengthsFinder Certified Coach • Strengths School™ Singapore ift.tt/2w8bKrU

Every year, Realtors® Care Day offers a helping hand to homeowners in need by providing exterior home repairs and adaptive safety modifications. Regional Habitat for Humanity chapters, the City of Charlotte, and other housing partners identify homeowners who qualify for the program.

Last month, realtors and City of Charlotte Code Enforcement volunteers joined forces to make a meaningful difference in Charlotte neighborhoods. They performed various tasks such as cleaning gutters, landscaping, repairing stairs, and enhancing exterior areas. We express our gratitude for their hard work and dedication.

Would appreciate any comments on the strange octopus equipment on the one building. Street view is mostly blocked by a hedge; only the top of a coil is showing. Also the field that looks like a computer schematic - wtf?

This portrait photo relates closely to a lot of Beny's portrait photos. Half of the subjects face is dark while the other is bright. He also captured his subjects doing things they would normally be doing without a camera in their face.
