With an imminent visit to the UK in prospect, I am now required to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) by the UK Immigration & Visa authority. (My UK passport expired three years ago and I have chosen not to renew it.)

As part of the on-line application process, I had to make a photo copy of my passport, submit to a facial recognition process (which did not work) and then take a selfie under strict conditions (look directly at the camera, plain light coloured background, no clutter).

This is of six foties I took to meet that requirement. Every one was rejected, ‘cos they said the piccy did not match my passport fotie. Sod that for a game of soldiers: I retrieved a tiny print of that same passport pic and submitted that. Bingo! A match! I then completed the rest of my ETA application, but what a tiresome faff.

I am now authorised to revisit my country of birth. So look out Britain!

If my head would have been in line with the jar, this would have been my 365. But alas, another for the reject pile.

Back in 2008 Kidrobot contacted me to submit designs for Dunny Series 6 (2009). I made a few that can be seen here. Unfortunately they weren't chosen.

Over the next few years I was invited to submit designs for the more recent series and came up with what you see above. These were all rejected as well.

One note- some of you may recognize the jumping electrical arc on my Tesla Dunny design as being very similar to Dok A's 2-Tone Dunny design. I am a huge Dok A fan, but I designed this previous to the 2-Tone series being released and without any knowledge of his design.
