I chose a glass of Kombucha. And a slice of lemon. I just read yesterday that the consumption of Kombucha has increased by a staggering 170% over the last year, making it the most popular soft drink alternative in Australia. Happy Macro Monday/ HMM

Yellow-headed Blackbird

This handsome individual did not shy away from strutting his stuff and was utterly oblivious to my presence while I took his pictures from the distance with my old trusty telephoto lens.

The early morning sun, which had been hidden behind a thin layer of stray cloud finally shone through, painting strips of warm golden rays on the wetland. And as if on cue, the Blackbird pleasantly struct a refreshing pose, cleared his throat and performed a final encore before flying off.

A Greylag goose (Anser anser) was framed making an afternoon flap after the bath. One of its friends was resting nearby. The dynamic wing positions in the action against a smooth backdrop is the real charm here. Pics was taken from a wetland in Birbhum, West Bengal, India.

I'm turning into a real whiner, I hate not having enough time to visit regularly on Flickr, but I love the money I'm making. Making and saving money now, so I can retire in a few years.

I'm still stopping and talking pictures, so much beauty to enjoy. Most stops are 5-10 minutes, but that's enough usually.

So many pictures ready to be posts, hard to decide, the Arizona desert yesterday... very tempting, but decided on this waterfall shot from May 2017. I love shooting water but don't get many opportunities. In Phoenix today, over 100 degrees, a waterfalls scene seems like a wonderful escape.

Nothing more refreshing than sitting in the cool waters of the Kuang Si falls on a hot day! The waterfalls are a travertine falls that descend over a series of limestone ridges, located southwest of Luang Prabang, Laos.

While having some nice Trappist beers, the expected rain came. And how refreshing it was. After savouring the first moments, all we had to do is grab our glasses and take shelter under one of the big black sun shades and continue talking & drinking.

Shot with my new cell phone, a Note 10 Lite, I was surprised by the quality of the wide-angle lens and the malleability of the file.
