A breeze on the lake. A few gentle clouds. When it is almost 100 degrees, it is refreshingly good to remember a spring day.

This week's 52 week project theme is refreshing and what could be more refreshing than some lovely ice cold Cheddar Spring Water.
Strobist info: 3 remote triggered speedlights. One behind and below pointing up (1/64). One infront and on the left through a shoot through panel (1/64) and one snooted over the top (1/128). There was also a silver reflector front and right of the bottle to fill some shadows.

One of the big highlights of my visit to the zoo on Tuesday was watching Klondike playing with her plastic ball in the pool.
She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying herself.
There is a series of 5 more pictures in the comments. This lead shot and the 1st photo in comments were taken from above the pool, but when she started diving with the ball and then trying to balance with all four paws on it underwater, I quickly moved around to the underwater viewing window.
Sorry about the glare....totally impossible to avoid.
During some of our walks we have been reminded of the film 'Ice Cold In Alex' with John Mills and Anthony Quayle. This time it was a pint of lager shandy that was waiting for me at the pub (I was driving back.)

Drove around a little today on the outskirsts of town and found a few new spots to shoot! Thankfully it warmed up to a high of 25 F today so it wasn't so bad out there. =D
It's always nice to clean your self off after being ambushed with marshmellows, shaving cream, and cake flour. Yeah, that did not taste good.
Just iced tea, with a wedge of lemon.

This was right before the rivers current whisked away my flip-flop. I'm not sure what happened to that flip flop, but it served me well. I have to say, it wouldn't be a vacation in British Columbia if I didn't manage to lose one or both of my flip-flops - or as the man said on my way back to the car, thongs. But we don't call them that anymore. We call that sliver of fabric wedged up the butt crack of women thongs ;)
