Something I've always wanted to improve on is droplets with refracted flowers etc. Pity on this occasion, I've captured it by chance. Tiny fly on Ragwort.
So this particular spider constructed an amorphous web, not a pretty spiral like an orb weaver. This made for some interesting effects in the sun with a fairly open aperture...
Seltzer with frozen cherries and blueberries. The spoon is reflecting the sunlight and the water is refracting the spoon. The seltzer surface and the cherries also show reflections.

It's been awhile since I played with water drop macros. I had a fun hour with these pretty flowers from my gardens yesterday afternoon.

This is a close-up photo of light being refracted on the sand through the patterns of the current in the estuary stream that flows across Clam Harbour Beach.
Pieris flowers covered in rain drops. The bloom covered shrub and a deep blue sky is refracted in some of them.
I had a glass of water on my desk and the sun came streaming through the window and I saw these wonderful refractive and reflective patterns and there was my PoD

My somewhat distorted and grey view of the Covid world that I have inhabited for the last two years.
Großer Grasbrook, where the well known Pirate Stoertebecker (literally "named Rush-Beaker" *1360 Wismar † 1401 Hamburg, both Haseatic League) lost his Head and saved afterwards his crew, the Victual Brothers (Victualien Brüder). They called themself the Likedeeler, what espresses, everybody got the same share.
Yesterday, there was a frost. I was out early, and all the vegetation and the spider's webs had been frosted. When they started to thaw, they became festooned with droplets. I took a lot of shots to try to convey the beauty of them. I'll post a few over the next day or two.
This is a photo of sunlight refracting through shallow water onto the the sand patterns at Clam Harbour Beach.
