The 13 meters high sculpture "Havre" by Linda Covit is an exploration of the body as a form of architecture, Havre is shelter for the spirit; for the body, The halo over it lasted many hours that day.
Droplet Refraction
A droplet on the Jade refracting the leaves (and some berries) of the Pittosporum Tree.
I am about 10 hours behind on an 8 hour day, today. back to catch up later.
A Sun Dog I believe it's called but please correct me if I'm wrong. A shoot up to the sky yesterday afternoon. Poloriser used so dialed down the blues and removed endless dust spots (oops).

It's Dandelion season again and I've been toying with this idea for a few weeks. I took a few water drop refraction shots today, for the first time. I had fun when I worked it out.

For few months now I own a 50mm lens and tried only few times!!! It has been two weeks now that I am following the saying "Practice makes perfect", even though I didn't perfect it yet but I am getting there!! Your thoughts have much value!!!

Raindrop
A very tropical day here today with passing thunderstorms.
Lots of raindrops around, I like the refraction in this one best.
This is a photo of refraction patterns as seawater flows over a shallowly submerged coastal rock. I love the contrasting play between the light brown/golden highlights and the darker gray areas, and how this momentary configuration of movement in the surf has given rise to these undulating light patterns.

Something I've always wanted to improve on is droplets with refracted flowers etc. Pity on this occasion, I've captured it by chance. Tiny fly on Ragwort.
