OurDailyChallenge "Natural Light Portrait"
I have never done much portrait work so I am way out of my comfort zone here. Since it is raining and windy today, my intention was to do a silhouette, but I don't have a window where this would work well. I tried numerous shots to get that but none were particularly good or even acceptable for that matter. I took a couple of non-shilhouette shots and this one worked well I thought.

The amazing visuals created by the weather. Taken with "cheapie" Kodak Easyshare C123 waterproof "sport camera" in black and white.
On a long walk around Hyde Park one weekend, which also happened to be Commencement Weekend, we roamed everywhere, including Jackson Park and the Med Bakery. Stella loved it all!
@ Thursley - not what I was expecting - as I went hoping for Hobbies, however a good day out - especially as I met up with Gary and Paul.........

By night: accident-preventing reflective super powers.

I plan put more of the remaining black tape on black parts of my bike frames.
A lot of bike accidents involve side impacts. This is one way to increase visibility from the side.
Got some new Sambas today. Reflective material so that they'll brighten up in the headlights of cars. Perfect for riding.

I am pleased with the nice reflection in this capture :) Hand held taken at the equivalent of 600mm.
Jonesy bought that black jacket on sale and it did not fit him so he sent it to me. I don't wear it much because I prefer to wear lighter colors because they make me more visible when I ride my bike at night. Reflective vests look dorky and performance gear is ridiculously expensive. This is a good compromise.
