Wishing you all a lovely weekend, dear friends...

Black headed Gull cooling off

With my camera battery dying after a day of many photos, I was very thankful it could hold out for a couple of shots of this awesome sunset.

Taken during a romantic week's holiday in Newquay.

A photo I did an oil painting from. This was sunlight coming through my window.

This shot is from sunrise at bogey hole. I reall wanted to get low on this shot to maximize the reflections. Although there is not one focal point, the chains are really intricate and amazing especially in the film shot which is very yellow and purple because of the way the white balance on the film. Still like it here though - can't wait to get the film scanned

Peeking around the corner and fully realizing that this past year made them more than siblings, it made them sisters.

I hadn't done any reflective surface photography for many many years, so I decided to get out the black foam core, X-ACTO knife, some black fabric, and gave it a go. Light source was a Vivitar 285 HV into a white reflector.

A moment's reflection in her day. I like the shadows, lighting and her mood here. An absolute most for lightbox. You can see more in my set "Karissa". I love the colors I get from this Kodak Ektar 35mm film. Pentax K1000 taken in Greenville South Carolina.
