I really like the reflection of this shed into the canal... If I owned this I would sit down by the waterfront all the time, just watching the Kingfishers dart around.

The Pond at Anderson Creek Park, Harnett County, NC. I had a great day there with my family playing Frisbee Golf and taking a little walk. This park is one of the hidden nuggets near Campbell University.

Another quick HDR project

A total of 3 exposures in aperture-priority mode were needed to capture a representational tonal range of the existing late afternoon shades across this whole scene. The light here was beautiful as seen in the center part of this photo.

Just a series of soft settings in Tone Mapping were needed to get the natural shot back from the three exposures. I used three different Adjustment Layers with very slight settings for fine-tuning in PS: Color Balance, Brightness/Contrast and Selective Color.

Cool sharpening by accident

Sharpening was done with this new accidental trick of mine I am going to use more often. Here's how I get a much nicer sharpening throughout the scene: by using the high-pass filter with a value approximately one pixel in Vivid Light layer mode I locally painted out irrelevant portions from the accompanying layer mask to enhance sharpness where needed.

Class with Daves Week 47 assignment 2: Self Portrait

you know how you spend so much time on something and it doesn't pan out? this shot is the outcome of that.

I had a concept that I wanted to try, but logisticswise i couldn't pull it off. but I wanted to show something for my time and effort.

I did set up one of my new umbrella lighting stands tho. so that was something good that came out of it.

During a walk in the oldtown of Kalmar while exploring the nice little streets and the cosy little swedisch houses.
