"While painters have unchecked freedom to interpret light as they wish, photographers can only use the light that is there at the time. Yet it is that limitation that creates photography's credibility, and it is this "believe-ability" which makes photography powerful".

This shot used in Week 24 - Reflections - set by the Compositionally Challenged Group.
I like this shot because the reflections in the window are of a part of the building which iI think is out of our sight line.
Roseate Spoonbill (Ajaja ajaja) - Fort De Soto, Florida
When I arrived at Fort DeSoto last week, it was still clouded over as the Sun had not finished asserting itself on the day. Everything was quite still. As I made my way out to North Beach, the first bird I saw was this Roseate Spoonbill sitting in a quiet corner of the lagoon.

MY B&W photography :
My friend took me for a ride around her property to see her pond and we saw this building on the other side of the pond ... Never know what you will find in the woods haha.. it was on her neighbor's side .. the pond butted up to their neighbors property line... was rather late in the day...loved the reflections... .
In the quiet hours when the world settles into stillness, I find myself gazing into the mirror of memories, tracing the lines of where life has been and pondering the paths it might yet tread. The tapestry of moments, woven with laughter and tears, unfolds before my mind's eye like a cherished storybook. There's a comfort in the familiarity of the past, and a sense of anticipation for the chapters still unwritten. As I stand on this threshold between what was and what will be, I realize that reflection isn't just about looking backward; it's about gathering the fragments of experience and using them to illuminate the road ahead.

"Follow your emotions anywhere
is it really magic in the air?
Never let your feelings get you down.
Open up your eyes and look around
Could it be a picture in my mind? "
Enjoy your days dear friends and thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy life!!!
Sending you hugs, love and peace

Reflections on a small pond just East of Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite. This time I've shown the trees as well as the reflections. (See my first one to understand...) This is a beautiful pond at Sunset....just wish we had gotten there a few minutes earlier to set up.
Now that I have no more inhibition with post processing, I'll just go ahead and explore reflections in any way possible :))
